Large Burning Ball In The Sky Burned Up And Hit The Ground Over Wesselsbron The Free State Province Of South Africa (Witness Find Debris)

Time:  Approx: 7:15 p.m.

 

Dear Brian, last night I saw a big burning ball in the sky while walking home (roughly 7:15 pm). Then a piece broke off and I think it burned up. The ball went out and just this big black object in the sky. Further down the road I came across a woman who also saw this.

“She actually picked up something that fell from the sky that was material like and square. This object was still hot when she passed it to me. It had neither burn odor nor any oily residue.”

We would like to find out what this could be.

Witness Saw And Heard Three Pieces Of Burning Debris Falling From The Sky Seen From Keller Texas

Time:  Approx: 6:30 p.m.

 

My son, his friend and I also saw and heard three pieces of burning debris falling from the sky over Texas about 6:30 pm on March 4, 2012.  We watched for around 10 minutes while three separate objects fell from the sky. 

 

The first was over Northern Tarrant County, and as we watched it fall, it was obvious that it was getting smaller as the red tail reduced and the sound did as well. 

 

We then heard a sonic boom, followed by another object falling to the right (North) of the first, around the same time that a third began falling well to the left (South) over what was the Downtown Ft. Worth area from our point of view in Keller, TX. 

 

Each had its own sound of a "jet roar". I did not hear a boom with the first, but we were driving at the time. The second two we'd stopped the car and got out to watch.

These were not typical meteors which have a trajectory all their own, and usually seem to streak in more horizontally and with speed. These three were simply pulled with the force of gravity and did not seem to have much speed. 

 

They fell almost directly down with some slight angled slant. They seemed to fall for a very long time, getting smaller as they dropped. 

 

There was a military jet which traveled from the location of close to the third object toward the first two, so there was some official notice of this event, though no official reports that I've seen.

The event looked identical to me as when the space shuttle exploded over Texas and the pieces rained down over the sky. Same types of tails with a center void of a sort.

Object Appeared Green In Color With Debris Falling Off Over Prescott Arizona (Meteor)

 

Date:  December 31, 2011

Time:  Between 8:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

 

I was in Prescott, AZ when I saw it. It was going from south-ish to north-ish across the sky. I would describe it as moving very fast, not slow. It was green and appeared to burn out with some fragments coming off of it. (It might not have burned out, but rather my view may have been obstructed by a mountain. Not sure.)

 

Clearly looked like a big meteor to me. Was still amazing to see. Very memorable. Pretty sure it was part of the Quadrantid meteor shower.

It was sometime between 8:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., but don't know exact time. It lasted for about 5 seconds I'm guessing.

I could not really see a tail.

Falling Debris Out Of The Sky Over Central New Jersey

Date: January 13, 2011

Time: Approx: 5:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Over Central New Jersey.
Number of witnesses: Commuter bus load of people.
Number of Objects: Undetermined.
Shape of Objects: Undetermined.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Today 1-13-2011 at approximately 5:00 PM, while riding home on the 3:30 bus out of Port Authority to Pennsylvania Lehigh Valley area on I78, many people on the bus witnessed a multitude of falling objects, some looked as if they were on fire. Soon after the first few were sighted, at least two military helicopters were spotted trailing the falling debris.
