Lights In The Sky Over Port Alberni British Columbia

Date:  October 31, 2014
Time:  Evening.

I saw something on October 31, 2014 at around the same time, but they weren't in a triangle formation.

They were stretched out, but stacked in twos and there were about, I think 6 or 8.

I can't remember, but they were up there for about 15 minutes before they disappeared.

This is in Port Alberni, British Columbia. I was facing south when I seen them. That's about all I can remember.

I thought it was strange, didn't think anyone else seen it too.

Green Object With White Tail Seen Falling Out Of The Sky Between Tofino And Port Alberni British Columbia

Date:  August 18, 2014
Time:  Approx: 10:30 p.m.

Hello, my mother and I were driving home from Tofino to Port Alberni on the night of August 18, 2014, I'm guessing the time was roughly 10:30 p.m., but I can't remember exactly. We were headed east towards Port Alberni about 30 minuets outside of Tofino.

We saw a large bright orb arc across the sky and it appeared to have landed between our location and port Alberni. We guessed it might have landed near or after Kennedy lake. The orb of light was green and had a large white tail behind it. We both thought it was too big to be a shooting star, as it appeared to be inside the earth's atmosphere and headed towards the ground.

There was no light or sound given off by a crash landing. It just disappeared behind the tree line.

We thought maybe it could have been a plane crash. As we passed Kennedy lake we saw two ambulances and an Alberni towing truck parked in a pull out on the side of the road. An ambulance paramedic was standing by the vehicle, but there appeared to be no sense of urgency because the vehicle's emergency lights were not on.

We didn't stop because the road to Tofino is quite curvy and treacherous, not a good place to be stopping especially at night.

I called Alberni towing on the morning of August 19, 2014 (around 9:00 a.m.) to see if they had any answers as to what the light was or if they were involved with any plane crashes. The operator said they didn't know of a plane crash and that the call too Kennedy lake was a mix-up. Not many details were given, just that they had gone to the wrong location.

The operator did say that she had been working all night and had seen the same light in the sky between her location (Port Alberni) and the mountains to the east (aka. The lookout to those who live in the Alberni Valley).

If the operator saw the same light we had seen, then our guess that it landed near Kennedy lake was wrong. This is because the operator was much farther east then we were and saw the light to her east.

Please let us know if you come up with any answers or if others experienced a similar sighting. It was a very strange thing to see and it would be
interesting to hear if others saw the same thing. Thanks.

Twinkling Colored Lights Take Off In Five Different Directions Over Port Alberni British Columbia (UFOs)

 

Date:  February 14, 2012

Time:  11:35 p.m.

 

February 14, 2012 at 23:35 hours Port Alberni. About a mile over the city I saw what I thought was a plane, I was thinking, there they go off to Hawaii or somewhere. I watched the red, blue, green and white lights for about 5 minutes in the quiet night.

 

I finished my cigarette when I realized the lights had not moved. I was sitting stationary and there is a tree branch I used as a focal point. This thing, whatever it was, just hovered there, the colored lights twinkling some, the white lights (3 of them) stayed the same intensity.

 

As I started thinking, “man I wish I had my camera”, this thing took off in what seemed to be 5 different directions making sharp turns zipping back and around. I quickly went into my home to get the camera, when I returned the previously clear sky was completely cloud covered, so much so the lights from the town and the pulp mill reflected back down from the sky making (now midnight) seem almost like day break.

 

I don't know who else witnessed this, but it was the strangest thing I had ever seen. (To date).

UFOs And Three Little Alien Figures At Port Alberni British Columbia

Time: Approx: 3:45 a.m.

On Aug.1.2011 about 3: 45 am. I was coming home after taking my kid to work and was heading north on Cherry Creek Rd. in Port Alberni. I saw a white light blink above the Beaufort range and thought it must be a satellite or a plane, then it disappeared and dropped down lower this time in front of the mountain just above the tree line and flashed again.

I thought to myself, ok it's a plane, then it blinked red, and I thought ok it's definitely a plane, but then it started flashing green. Now in all my 50 years of living here I've never seen a plane blink both red and green lights. Then all of a sudden it zig zagged a little lower and shot backwards leaving a white light streak behind it which immediately disappeared. I've seen fighter jets in action and believe me, no aircraft on this earth can move that fast! It was definitely a UFO.

The next day we had tons of aerial activity above the area and the following day as well.

I was reading more of your site and saw that you are wanting past UFO sighting information as well so here it goes. About 1987 My husband and I were driving back from Parksville about 11:00pm and saw a V shaped formation of lights, 7 of them that were stationary above Mt. Arrowsmith, then they suddenly disappeared all together.

We drove into port and Mt. Arrowsmith was visible from our house and there the lights were again in the same place again just sitting there. We thought it was some sort of a Airforce maneuver and dismissed it. The next day I was talking to my girlfriend and she said her dad saw the same thing and had actually called Comox Airforce Base to see if there were any maneuvers being done and they said no.

About 2 years before that my husband and I had gone to bed it was about 12:00 am. He fell asleep and it takes me a lot longer to fall asleep so I was laying there awake and suddenly our room was filled with a blinding light.

There was only 1 small window which faced south there and the neighbors house was really close on that side about 7 feet away so unless someone was shining a really bright in my window which there wasn't or I would've seen the beam, the light seemed to come from above.

I tried waking my husband, but I couldn't wake him up even though I was shaking and yelling at him. It was like he was unconscious or something. Next thing I know our bedroom became filled with a sort of vapour and I saw 3 little men about 3 1/2 to 4' tall come in our bedroom. Have you ever watched the movie Fire in the Sky?

That's what these things sort of looked like. I was screaming, but no sound seemed to come out and I was paralyzed I tried to get up but couldn't move! I was terrified! These things picked me up and carried me out of my room up and I don't remember anything after that. I told my husband about it the next day, but he said I was dreaming. I know I wasn't, I was wide awake when this happened.

Ok those are my UFO stories, you are going to think me a nut job, but the above is all true.

Lights Shot Off Over Port Alberni British Columbia

Orange Crescent Moon Object Over Mount Arrowsmith Port Alberni Vancouver Island British Columbia

Date: February 14, 2011

Time: Night time sighting.

I live on an open parcel of land surrounded by trees on all sides, I was taking the dog for her nightly walk on February 14, 2011 through an open field. Towards the west I noticed a light almost at treetop level, partly covered by the first layer of trees. The light which was actually in a clearing, was orange in colour and shaped like an upside down crescent moon and from the scale of the trees, it appeared to be about 10 feet long and about 50 feet from the ground.

In order to get a better view, we walked along the grassy field up a small hill, only to find that the object was slowly moving in the same direction. By the time we reached the top of the hill the object was still not as visible as I hoped because it kept moving, and it also started disintegrating starting at one end of the crescent slowly to the other end.

There was no noise and no outline of anything and the dog totally ignored it. The whole episode took about 5 minutes. There was a crescent moon shining through partial clouds near Mount Arrowsmith which is about 15 miles away, but I could find no local fog or low clouds or anything that could reflect the moons light, especially to create the flame orange colour.

Has anyone else seen anything similar ?

Port Alberni, British Columbia Circular UFO Filmed (TV News Footage)

Vike Factor Note: I found out about the UFO sighting through a friend who works at one of our local stores here in town. They told me that an entire family watched, and video taped a strange object and that Global TV had done and interview with the family and ran the footage.

So to start with, I thought I would place a short audio clip to the site of the young girl telling in her words what she witnessed.

She was such a delightful child to speak with, I also spoke with the Mother and Father who explained the events also.

UFOs Seen From Tofino To Port Alberni British Columbia

Date: October 14, 15 and 16th, 2010

Time: Varies.

For the last 3 nights I have seen an object that could be over Tofino to Port Alberni area. October 14, 2010 I saw the object at 8:00pm to 8:20pm. At first I thought it was just a bright star, but I didn't remember a bright star in that area. I went inside and 5 minutes later went back out to look again. It had moved down and slightly to the right. I continued to watch it and it suddenly glowed red then back to white.

I had my wife come out and see it and she saw it was moving and then she went back inside as she had to bath the baby. I then watched the object approach this area where I am guessing it got to Port Alberni area or just to it's south. It then flashed lights in a rotation around the object. Then a red light appeared behind it, so I thought ok, it's an aircraft as the red light looked like an aircraft landing light.

However, the red light suddenly zoomed to the south and slightly upwards and was gone. I watched the object until it went behind trees. October 15, 2010 at 7:50pm went outside and looked in that area and sure enough the bright star was there. I wondered if it could possibly be the same thing. Sure enough it started to move again, very slowly down and to the right. Again it started to flash red, then a bluish colour and then back to bright white.

Again it slowly moved into trees where I lost sight of it at 8:15pm. Tonight, Oct 16, 2010 at 7:30pm I saw the same thing again. Seems to be a bit earlier each night. I tried to film it with an old Sony camcorder, but you really can't see what's going on. I tried my cell phone, but same thing. It did pretty much the same thing and by 8:05 it went behind the trees again.

Each night it gets to the same area and starts changing light colour and starts flashing. When a plane went by yesterday, Oct 15, 2010 it blinked out and did not put it's lights back on until the aircraft was well to the south of it. Also I have noticed dogs barking through out the town when this happens and then peace returns by around 9:00pm. Anyone watching the skies at this time of night to the west side of the island will have seen this so I am positive other people have seen this.

You may give my email address to anyone that has seen sightings in this area. Also I noticed that the Qualicum Beach sightings are very similar to this one. There has been many sightings lately and I know it will increase in the near future. Also if you know anyone that has any decent video equipment in this area (central island) I would be happy to try and get as close to the object as possible. Just to let you know, I do not have any fear of these objects, just apprehension. I would be happy to help anyone with fears or concerns and I would never charge money for any kind of dealings with anything UFO related.

Triangular UFO Towing Another Over Port Alberni British Columbia

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My ball team was sitting by the fire enjoying the night when my sister looked up to the sky and said "look at that", we all looked up and saw a lit up triangular object in the sky. Then we all said "it looks like it is towing something!"

We could see a dark line attached to a dark object of the same shape behind it. We were all speechless because it was what it was. An object towing another in the night sky. Then as if it knew we were watching, poof gone. We discussed possibilities, but really we all believe it was UFOs.
