Eyewitness Observes Triangle Shaped UFO Along The New York State Thruway From Albany To Fonda New York (Written Report/Audio Interview)

Date: June 20, 2007
Time: 11:15 p.m.

Location of Sighting: New York State Thruway from Albany to Fonda.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 2
Shape of objects: Triangle.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was traveling from Albany to Utica and as I left Albany I saw what I thought was a bright star to the southwest of me.

As I traveled the light seemed to move northeast. After about 15 minutes the light seemed to be moving along the path of the thruway and I began to catch up with it in the car.

As I neared the Amsterdam exit it was on the North side of the road and I tried to calculate it's height. I estimated that it was between 500 and 1000 feet.

I then noticed two small red lights positioned approximately 1000 feet at 11 o'clock from the triangle shape. A couple of minutes latter they disappeared and I discounted them as possibly a small plane.

As I neared the Fonda exit I thought I would catch it. It seemed odd that the light was continuous and had a halo effect around the triangle and was pure white. It moved over the Barge Canal and I lost sight of it behind the trees. I rushed to the parking area about 1 mile up the road to regain a look at it.

When I pulled in the parking area I jumped out of the car and ran past the trees to see if it was still there. I looked and saw it across the water on top of the ridge 1 mile distant.

It was not moving but sitting near the top of the trees. I watched and tried to convince myself that there was a cell tower or some other structure there. I called my wife about 5 minutes latter and told her I was still looking at it when, all of a sudden the two red lights appeared again directly to the left of the object.

 It slowly rose straight up and as it did the triangle, that had remained positioned over the trees for 10 minutes and remained the same size, slowly, very slowly began to lower itself into the trees. As it did this a shooting star fell to it's right about a 1/4 mile away. After a few minutes it was gone behind the trees.

This occurred on the ridge along route 5 north about 1 mile before the big nose and little nose cliffs and about 1/4 mile from the National Kateri Indian Shrine.

Lit Object Circling Behind The Clouds Over Latham Albany County New York

Date:  July 29, 2014
Time:  Evening.

Latham, NY - I was walking my dog last night, July 29, 2014, and saw an orb of light circling behind the clouds. It moved with me and although it moves in a circular motion, it's rather erratic, jerky like. I saw this once before last summer. It was in the clouds behind my house and I watched it for well over an hour that time.

There was enough sky between two masses of clouds that I actually caught a glimpse of it. It was night, but it appeared gray and there was no light unless it was behind the clouds. I really want to know what it is, because none of it makes any sense.

12 Orange Red Lights Seen Flying Over Albany Oregon

Time:  Evening.

 

I live south of Portland in Albany, OR. One night my wife, best friend and I saw 12 orangish/reddish orbs in the sky. We pulled the car over and got out to watch.  They were not moving toward us nor away from us.   

They seemed to just be hovering. What made it unique was that the orbs moved in formations.  Six of the orbs would move in formation and the other six would move in their own formation. 

The orbs would move up, down and sideways.  After watching for about 5 minutes, the orbs slowly started to fade out.  Some of the orbs would completely disappear and then reappear.  

I looked up Chinese lanterns and know by watching video on the internet that it could not have been lanterns. 

At one point the formations seemed to make what looked to me like 2 letters of the alphabet. I think it was a “Y” and an “O”. It was mind-blowing. 

Another experience I had a few weeks later was a white flashing light that at first seemed like it could have been a small aircraft. As it flew across my view the flashing white light gave birth to another white light. 

The new light that formed did not flash. Both lights continued on as if they were connected.  But the light did not just suddenly appear behind the flashing light.  It was a slow, subtle transformation. 

It took about 8 seconds for flashing light to give birth to the new light.

6 Glowing Orange Lights In The Sky Over Albany Oregon

Time:  Approx: 7:50 p.m.

Hello, I was in Albany, Oregon on 4/2/12. At about 7:50 p.m. my 3 boys and I saw 6 orange glowing orbs in the sky. They were higher in the sky than any planes in our area would fly, but closer than our evening stars. 

We watched them for several minutes. At first they had no noticeable movement, then they began to change their alignment so they were moving.

It was still daylight out and had been a warm beautiful day. I have no idea what they were. Thanks for reading.

Additional Information:

Hi Brian, I forgot to mention it was still daylight out when we spotted the orange/yellow orbs in the sky. I really studied them because I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

Also the lights were the same size/color (the size of baseballs) and when they moved it was graceful in a fluid like motion.

I looked into solar balloons and Chinese lanterns, but they were too high and too bright (daylight) to be either of the two. 

I really leaning towards government surveillance of some sort. I've never given much thought to this sort of stuff, but I know for the first time in my life I have seen with my own eyes that I can't reason away with logic.

Brilliant White Object With Hint Of Blue Lit Up Clouds Over Albany California

Time:  6:54 p.m.

 

Hi, I was walking home from work in Albany, California, it happened at 6:54 p.m. exactly, because I called my father right afterward. I was walking east, approaching Albany Middle school and I was gazing up at the sky. 

 

The sun had set about 30 minutes ago, the sky was navy, almost black with some cloud cover. I see a brilliant white spot with a hint if blue heading north, about 2-3 times faster than your typical passenger jet for an object of that size. 

 

Not in a straight line either, at a slight decline. It came and entered cloud cover which lit up a good portion of the clouds a bright blue and then was gone, disappeared as if someone turned off the lights.

 

I struggled to see any sign of an object, but saw nothing fall or disintegrate. Just poof, gone. It was an eerie thing to see, yet the light was magnificent, and beautiful. Never saw anything like it in my life. 

 

My name is (name removed), and I also live in Albany.  I came across the orange triangle story when I goggled light in the sky 3/10/2012, and was a little surprised to see a light sighting so close to where I saw it on the same day. I look forward to hearing from you.
