6 To 8 Lights Seen Around Object In The Sky Over Northwest Pennsylvania

Date: April 4, 2012
Time:  Approx: 9:30 p.m.

See in the west/northwest sky, huge bright star (possibly a planet), though much brighter than any I've previously seen. Using the bright object as the center of a clock, at about 4 o'clock a very faint, small star-like light can be observed, about a thumbs-width away from the bright object.

While continuously viewing it, it appears to 'blip' in and out of view. At times, other similar small objects (as many as 6-8 of them) appear around the smaller object, sometimes for an eye-blink's length, sometimes staying in view for a few seconds at a time.

While mostly stationary, these do appear to move from time to time, though it is hard to tell from this distance (as well as the light pollution that resides in this town).

Additional Information:

It was today, April 4th 2012. About an hour ago, roughly (9:30 p.m. EST). As an update, mass-plane like sightings were also observed around 10:15 p.m. EST (8 to 10 of them in a five minute period of time, have never seen that many. No sounds were noticed as they flew at varying altitudes.

Will keep monitoring this as the evening goes on.

Bright Light With Orange Yellow Tail Over Stockport Northwest England Cheshire UK

Date:  March 3, 2012
Time:  Approx: 9:45 p.m.

About 9:45 p.m. this evening March 3rd, 2012, over the Stockport (north west England Cheshire area) I saw what started as a very bright light travelling towards me and past me in the sky.

I noticed it had a very long bright orange/yellow trail.

Travelling north south direction. I thought it may have been a firework, continued to watch it for approximately 40 seconds. The tail seemed to get smaller and object disappeared out of view.

It would be interesting to know what this was?

It seems to me that if it was a meteor then it was very large?

Cigar Shaped UFO Over Caledon Ontario Northwest Sky

Date: July 25, 2011
Time: 4:30 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Cigar shaped.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I noticed something in the corner of my eye as I was watching the cloud formation. I went in and grabbed my camera and started taking pictures. I'm sending the pictures to your email address.

The cloud ended up covering the object. I saw a grey object that had the exact same shape just south of here around 9 year's ago, but never blue.

I figure it was trying to make itself the same color as the sky, close though!

I'm sure now that there back in the area, I'll be out with the camera tonight.

The Vike Factor: I will see if I can get the photos to add to the report, I am sure I received them, but being down for a few months things got lost.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Bright Light Hovers Northwest Of London Ontario

Date: December 26, 2010
Time: Approx: 11:00 p.m.

I was reading your website this morning after Googling information about a UFO over London Ontario. I was directed to your site and when my daughter and I read your site we noticed there was alot similarities in what we saw and what you saw.

Last night (December 26, 2010) at about 11:00pm EST I noticed a very bright light to to the northwest of the city. I wasn't sure what I was looking at, but I know it was something I had never seen before. I thought maybe it was some type of star, so I called my daughter to come and take a look..

We quickly decided that it was not a start and definitely not a plane that we were looking at. It was stationary for the longest time and then slowly started to move. It started to speed up and move sideways and then stopped and then started again! It moved fairly slow after that and we watched it disappear in the night sky!

It also had a blue type of light and a red light, and they were not airplane type lights either!

Like I said I am not sure if what we saw was anything, but it was definitely odd and strange and nothing that either one of us have ever seen anywhere before! We were quite awe struck and are very curious now this morning

Thanks I hope that this little bit of info helps. Sincerely.

4 Orange Glowing Lights West In Coral Springs (Northwest Broward County) Florida

Date: December 24, 2010
Time: Evening.

My first sighting of this sort in my life. I was driving west in Coral Springs (Northwest Broward County) we saw 4 orange glow lights about the size of a very large star. They moved in various directions.

Two seemed to move toward each other and all of them in right angles only. When we got out of the car only one object was remained and it began to disappear behind the clouds. Now I read that many other sighting like this have been occurring in the world this year.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Orange Lights Over Elgin Northwest Of Chicago Illinois

Date: November 9, 2010
Time: Evening.

Hello, we live in Elgin near the South Elgin border. My husband and I were just in our driveway and saw the same thing as described at this link.

http://unitedstatesufo.blogspot.com/2010/08/orange-lights-over-longcommon-parkway.html

We only saw two though. It was low, not high like a plane but it's very cloudy out right now and it was lower than the clouds. We could see it clearly. It went straight over the house and faded out not too long after we followed it into the yard.

We waited a few minutes and didn't see another one. That's when I came in and jumped online. They traveled fast and in a straight path...not with the wind. It did look like some type of flare but strange that you would see it also almost a month ago.

Will keep watching the sky.

UFO Sightings Down In Northwest

By Rikki Schierer - Houston Today
Published: October 06, 2010 5:00 AM

UFO activity has been fairly slow in the Bulkley Valley recently, ufo-ologist Brian Vike said, however UFO reports elsewhere have picked up, especially in the United Kingdom

The region from Vanderhoof to Prince Rupert was once known as the UFO capital for Canada, Vike said, due to a sharp increase in activity from 2002-2003.

Yellow or orange glows are usually a good indication of a UFO, Vike said, which have been highly reported in the UK. After posting one such report to his blog, Vike shut his computer off for the night and in the morning he had 170 reports of the same thing.

Round Orange Glowing Balls Over Northwest Arkansas

Date: July 21, 2010
Time: 9:30 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Northwest Arkansas.
Number of witnesses: 6
Number of Objects: 5
Shape of Objects: Round orange glowing balls.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I went into my driveway and saw 5 orange glowing balls in the eastern sky moving to the north. I yelled at my husband and 4 children who came outside and saw the strange shapes as well. They were in the formation of a square and then one light tailed directly in the middle of the last two balls. They moved in a smooth way to the North that I have never seen and faded out into the clouds after about 2 minutes. I really have never seen anything like it.

Orange Glow Over Hawthorn Woods Northwest Of Chicago

Date: July 4, 2010
Time: Evening.

I was in Hawthorn Woods, northwest of Chicago on July 4th and our party witnessed a slow moving orange glow move from south to north. It made no noise and had no blinking lights as the many aircraft that fly directly over this area from O'Hare do. It moved very slowly northward and was in sight for about ten minutes until it faded away in the distance. it looked unlike any thing that I have ever seen.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Bright Orange Glowing Object Seen In Northwest Indiana

Date: July 4, 2010
Time: Approx: 10:30 p.m.

On Sunday, July 4th, 8 adults and 9 children watched a glowing orange ball move across the clear night sky at approx. 10:30pm. It seemed to appear slightly to the west of our house and then moved in a northeast direction across the sky. It moved at a steady pace, but slow enough for everyone to watch it move. It traveled in a straight line and seemed to be powered by itself, although it was completely silent. We watched it until it was out of sight.

We thought that it was a burning plane or a balloon of some sort, but it never got lower or extinguished at all – just traveled in a straight line. Shortly after that we saw, what looked like, three helicopters come into view from the northwest (probably from O’Hare area). They traveled in formation, one above the other in the direction of where the object would have traveled.

The funny thing is, after seeing the orange glowing object, we stayed outside for at least another two hours. From 11:30pm-12:30am, I did not see a single plane in the clear night sky. I usually see many planes. The next day, July 5th, I still did not see a single plane in the sky until around 5:00pm – although we heard a fighter at around 11:00am. Pretty strange.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Northwest Woman Steps Up With Tale Of Sasquatch

Canada.com
http://www.canada.com/cityguides/princerupert/story.html?id=b1f51fae-2cc2-4f41-a15e-bf9b1415a264&k=29056

Delores Harries has had an encounter that she’ll never forget.

The Houston, B.C., native has been talking this week about a Sasquatch she claimed she saw running from her property in the early-morning hours one July day this year.

“I thought at first it was my son coming home from work but I realized it was the wrong time of day for him to come home from work and when I opened the door my dogs went running by me and I heard a crash in the neighbours’ bush,” said Harries.

Houston-based UFO and Sasquatch researcher Brian Vike believes the footprints allegedly found at the site were left by a Sasquatch.

Vike, said that he has seen footprints around the Houston area that makes him believe the tall furry man-imals not only exists, but are becoming increasingly more visible in Northwest B.C.

According to him, there have been two Sasquatch sightings in Houston this year alone and one sighting in Moricetown, just west of Houston.

“It’s a blast,” said Vike of the recent spate of sightings. “I’m not a Bigfoot guy but hey, nobody else is doing it around here.”

According to Vike, the most accurate account of a Sasquatch sighting was Harries’, who on July 25 at 6:15 a.m. opened her backdoor to let her dogs inside. The dogs had been scratching at the door trying to get in. After lying down, the dogs were suddenly alerted to something going on outside and ran back to the door. At that time, the door’s knob was rattling. Letting the dogs out, Harries stood on her back porch and saw something to the eastside running across her property line on two legs.

“She is very credible about it,” said Vike.

Vike examined the spot where the Houston woman said she had encountered the fabled beast and said that he could see a Sasquatch footprint as plain as the morning sky.

“There is one spot you can definitely see where I would say something heavy, not a cow, but something real large in size has made a print,” said Vike. “The ground was really roughed up and whatever roughed it up really sunk down.”

Vike is not committed to the idea that Sasquatch population is on the rise in the Northwest but he also isn’t discounting the possibility. And he doesn’t discount even odder coincidences.

“A lot of Sasquatch researchers do not believe that UFOs and Sasquatch go hand-in-hand. I don’t know either. But I must admit there are cases where the Bigfoot sighting has been quickly followed by a UFO sighting,” said Vike.

Asked why he thought there is growing interest in Sasquatch sightings, Vike said that it stems from a desire for the bizarre.

“It’s different. A lot people get tired of the regular bad news stuff and this Sasquatch stuff is a little lighter, a little more interesting, perhaps a bit of a mystery and so I think that’s why,” said Vike.

As for Harries, she discounted the possibility of it being a bear that she saw because, having lived in the Houston area for 15 years and seen plenty of bears, she is sure one could not be that tall. And she doesn’t care what anyone thinks.

“Some people believe me, some people don’t. I know what I saw,” said Harries.

Northwest B.C. Leads In UFO Sightings

The Interior News
Wednesday, April 2, 2003
95th year - Week 14
www.interior-news.com

Have you ever spotted strange lights in the sky or a fast moving object that defies the laws of gravity? If not, don't worry, you might. Chances of seeing a UFO in northern B.C. are greater than in any other region in Canada.

Terrace is the B.C. capital for sightings and third across the country, while Houston placed second in B.C. and fourth in Canada.

The list complied 483 eyewitness reports from around the country in 2002. One-third of all sightings were reported in B.C.

Brian Vike is a ufologist based out of Houston, B.C. and the founder of a UFO Web site. He has been an investigator of strange phenomenon in the region since 2000. Since the list was released. Vike said his phone has been ringing off the hook.

"People are aware now that there is someone who investigates and tries to figure out what people are seeing," Vike says.

Even in the last two months, there have been sightings reported in the northwest region.

One "large disk shaped object" was spotted on February 22, over a one hour period by observers in three different area in B.C.

The object was described as very large, slow moving, with bright lights on the underside and completely silent.

The first witness spotted the object in Mill Bay, Vancouver Island at 9:15 p.m. followed by two in Kitimat, at 10:20 p.m. Shortly after, a husband and wife stopped their vehicle between Terrace and Prince Rupert to watch the object.

While there have been hundreds of sightings in the northwest, many have been explained by military exercises or cosmic activity, such as planets or shooting stars.

"There are still so many that remain unexplained and people are seeing things all the time," says Vike.

A film crew from the Canadian Life Network arrived in the area recently to start shooting a new series called "The Magnificent Obsession."

Because of the surge of sightings in the past two years, Vike was asked to be a part of the documentary, which will include other ufologists from the U.S. and England.
