1895 Inland Cigar Factory Kamloops British Columbia (4 - Pictures)

Above Photo: 1895 Inland Cigar Factory in Kamloops, British Columbia.

As my daughter continued to shows me around Kamloops, we came to the Inland Cigar Factory which is located at First Avenue and Seymour Street. The building is a two-story, red-brick Victorian-era structure.

UFO Filmed Over Canada From A Boeing 767 (Pictures)

From Brian Vike's UFO Files.

Date: December 2, 2004

Hi Brian, I went back home to eastern Canada on December 2, 2004. I took West Jet, and the plane was a Boeing 767.

The plane took off in Vancouver, Canada at 10:30 a.m. a one stop to Toronto, Ontario, then to Moncton, NB.

About a hour into the flight I asked the flight attended, if I could take some video out the window, she said sure, ''No problem''.

I could see the sun setting in the background, a beautiful dark orange. I got as much video as I could before it went totally dark.

When I got home on December 7, 2004, I have watched the video and I didn't see anything unusual. Last weekend, I decided to watch it again.

While watching it, I noticed something black, on the top right hand corner of the screen. I rewound the tape and put it in slow motion.

Visible, is a black object, hovering around. Then it looks like it comes closer to the plane, and sticks out beside the window. To me it looks like a hockey puck, or cigar shaped object.

You can also notice a small plane going down in the clouds. Take a look at the clip I'm sending you, If you can't make it out, I'll send you a DVD.

Two Cigar Shaped UFO Spotted In The Sky From Glebe Ottawa Ontario (Diagram)

From Brian Vike's UFO Files.

Date: 2006
Time: 6:45 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Glebe, Ottawa
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 2
Shape of objects: Orange cigar.

Full Description of event/sighting: It happened in the Glebe in Ottawa. I went outside on the back deck, looked up and saw 2 cigar shaped objects.

One was flying over the house the other was 20 miles away. Within seconds one slid up beside the other. I was in shock a bit.

I asked my roommate if she saw that, she said yes and that one had gone over the house seconds before I came out. I had the feeling inside like there was life inside the craft.

It made no sound traveled at a smooth speed. I ran to the front of the house and they were gone.

It almost felt like they were supposed to be there, almost like I was looking through a time warp for a second, looking at something that was there but I wasn't supposed to see it.

Hard to explain, it was witnessed by 2 people. It made no noise like my eye and my brain weren't working. It was like watching a bus float across the sky. I have no doubt they are real, what ever they are.

Thank you to the witness for a interesting sighting report.

Huge Cigar Shaped UFO Darkened The Sky With It’s Size At Saskatoon Saskatchewan

Date:  July or August 1950
Time:  Approx: Mid day.

July or August 1950. I was too young to know the date or pay attention to the date at the time. My brother, myself, and my mother saw this in person. Believe me, it left a mark on my poor little self. Didn’t realize what I had seen until much later.

In the 1950’s the city closed up solid on Wednesday afternoons (not a soul to be seen after 12:00 noon). I know it was summer because on Wednesdays dad stayed home until noon then dropped us off at my mom’s job at 12:00 p.m. and he’d go to work and we’d walk back home with my mother.

That day she had to stay later to finish up some work. It was around 1:00 p.m. when we started home. The downtown was totally deserted. We were walking north up 2nd Avenue on the east side of the street. We were just 2 buildings from 23rd street when suddenly my mother grabbed my brother and myself and in a voice that I never heard before or after said, no matter what happens, do not move, look, or make a noise”.

She shoved us into this doorway alcove area and stood directly in front of us shaking. The sky that had been a clear bright blue started to turn darker and darker. Mom never said a word, just kept us pressed behind her tight into the alcove and she was frozen watching up above us.

Well being the obedient child I was of course I pulled her skirt aside and peeked out and up. Then I remember grabbing my brother and making him look too. My mom never moved. She didn’t even notice us looking.

When I saw what was up there, I remember shoving my brother back into the corner and nearly standing on top of him to get further back too. There was a huge, huge thing hovering over 2nd Ave., that had completely blocked out all the sunlight.

There was no noise and it covered the whole block lengthwise (like a giant cigar). Suddenly it was gone, but it was up there a long time. Even then I can remember my mom made us wait a long time before she moved. Then she made a hiding game on the way home to see how out of sight we could stay.

I remember that by the time we got home she was hysterical and sent us to our room with orders not to come out. Then she phoned dad at work and made him come home immediately. I had my ear to the door as she told him what had happened.

He came home and started phoning around. He called the police to see if there had been any strange reports, then the airport and finally the air force base located here then. They all said nothing happened.

Then he told my mother to never tell another soul as they would figure he was married to a nut case, his exact words. It was never mentioned again and everyone acted like nothing ever happened.

In 1981 my mother had some health issues and I figured that I’d mention what I saw for verification. I said-mom, do you remember, and then I told her what I saw. She looked at me horrified and said, “you saw that, why didn’t you ever say anything “ ?.

All I could say in return was ‘ you told us not to look or move “ . You have to remember in those days you did what you were told-mostly. Besides which after the carry-on with my dad I knew better than to admit I looked.

Large Triangular And Cigar Shaped UFOs Observed Over Clovis New Mexico (Area Map In Report)

(From Brian Vike’s UFO Files) Re-posted by Brian.

Date: 1973-1977
Time: N/A.

Brian, my wife was online this evening looking at video of the supposed UFO in Jerusalem (the UFO in Jerusalem ended up being a hoax) flying over the Dome of the Rock.

I related to her my own UFO sightings in Clovis, NM when I was around 17 years old. I asked her to Google "UFO sighting Clovis NM" and that is how I found out about you.

I was reading some articles online where you shared other people's stories of the UFO sightings in the Clovis, NM area in 1976. I lived in Clovis from 1973 to 1977.

During that time I saw UFO objects on at least 4 separate occasions and each one was different and very amazing to me.

They are pretty clear in my head like it was yesterday. The only thing I don't remember are the exact dates, but I know they were during the 1973-1977 timeframe with 3 sightings possibly during the January 1976 event though I remember more like two weeks of sightings instead of two days.

1 - Large Cigar shaped Black UFO hovering over power lines in broad daylight while I was plowing a field west of Rhea, TX just over the state border in NM. I will attach a map screenshot of the exact area. (I believe this was some time before the next three events.) Stayed over power lines for several minutes and then saw a heat wave and it left very quickly and disappeared into the distance heading south to southeast. Farmer across the road saw it too but I did not talk to him.

2 - Large Triangle shaped UFO at night hovering over my home in Clovis. Very slow, silent movement and some lights. Slowly drifted away into the night. Could not hear it at all even though it was not very far up in the air above my brother and me.

3 - Inverted Top shaped UFO in the afternoon or evening in a field outside of Clovis. Multi-colored light streaming from bottom of craft and resembled glitter. Beautiful. Saw it with binoculars while parked near railroad tracks. My brother was with me.

4 - Bright white light UFO in the night sky. I saw it from my front yard in Clovis through binoculars. The object was clearly being pursued by a military aircraft (I could see the jets afterburners when it turned). The UFO light would make 90 degree turns and move very fast and the jet would pursue and make slow curved turns. After several 90 degree turns the object waited for the jet to catch up and suddenly the jet disappeared (literally) and the object remained alone.

Then the object left at a very high rate of speed and disappeared into the distance. Scary and amazing. I don't remember any report in the news about a missing jet even though I was looking for one.

This is the first time I've ever written this down even though I have shared this story with family and some friends over the years. Quite a memorable time for sure. I remember everyone was out looking for UFO's and the police were looking as well.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Cigar Shaped UFO Speeds Off Over North Yorkshire Moors England UK (Diagram)

(From Brian Vike’s UFO Files) Posted by Brian.

Date: August 14, 2008
Time: Approx: 2:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: North Yorkshire Moors, England.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Cigar/cylindrical.

Full Description of event/sighting: My husband was driving us across the moors. I turned to speak to him and out of the corner of my eye, noticed a large silver/grey object flying along the valley next to us. We were driving over the top of a large hill, the object was slightly lower than us but only 2 to 3 hundred yards away.

At first I thought it was a commercial airliner and commented to my husband that it was exceptionally low. The object was travelling at about the same speed as us. Looking more closely, I observed, that while in shape, it looked like the body of an airliner but had no tail section, wings or windows.

Diagram Below: Eyewitness drew a diagram of what the UFO appeared to look like.

This observation was followed by an exclamation of "what the hell is that?" which made my husband look.

The object then accelerated to great speed and disappeared into a valley ahead. I was only a couple of minutes later, when we came out of our shock, enough to speak about what we'd just seen, that we realized that it had made no sound or left a trail of any kind.

I've always kept an open mind about UFO's, but my husband was a total skeptic - not any more. I've reported it to a couple of places, but I think that people think I'm going mad. I'm wary about telling anyone now. Hubby doesn't want to talk about it.

Silver Cigar Shaped UFO Seen Flying Over Clayton New Mexico (Diagram)

(From Brian Vike’s UFO Files) Posted by Brian.

Date: Summer, 1996
Time: Approx: 3:00 p.m. (Afternoon)

Location of Sighting: One mile west of Clayton, New Mexico. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Silver cigar shaped vessel.

Full Description of event/sighting: Hi there, Brian Vike, I hope I'm not wasting your time because this sighting happened in 1996. I am only now investigating the possibilities because a friend of mine in California, after I told him my story, encouraged me to do so. He feels I should at least explore it.

Image Left: A welcome to Clayton.

I never have looked into it because I'm quite skeptical of UFO sightings in regard to the sightings being alien in nature. I don't know what I saw that day, but I was content to accept it as experimental aircraft of some kind. That said, for what it's worth, here's my story (and thanks for listening, for investing the life, time and energy into reading this--always a costly investment, life, time and energy, and so of course deeply appreciated).

Mid-summer, 1996, a mile west the town of Clayton, New Mexico.

Back in 1996 I was living in New Mexico, in the northeast corner of the state in a tiny cattle town called Clayton, the CO2 capital of the world, or so they claim. We owned a Mom and Pop motel there, about a mile west of town. The name of the motel was (and still is) The Holiday Motel. You can drive through Clayton, New Mexico to this very day and spend a night at the motel if you want. The motel is open for business and it looks almost exactly the same as it did when I ran it back in '96.

Anyway, the motel is pretty isolated, a mile from town with only cows and flies to keep you company, lots of wind to make you feel alone, and long, long, long and cold blue skies to make you wonder. I ran the motel alone most of the time. I did have my best buddy, Thor, by my side, my old Rotti, the best dog I've ever had, but other than that, I was alone for long periods of time.

I walked Thor every afternoon. It was 3:00 pm that day, a little windy, a nice and warm summer's day and not a cloud in that long, cold blue sky. Thor and I stopped walking and I sat my butt on the motel's wooden fence, facing north but looking west, looking over my left shoulder into the soon-to-set sun. Thor sat next to me, leaning his big head and muscled upper body on my left thigh, something he often did.

North of the motel there's a mountain called Rabbit Ear. It has an enormous amount of recent human history imbedded in its soil, named after a Native American Chief who fought the settlers wagoning-by on the Santa Fe Trail. A lot of Native Americans and early American settlers died on the mountain and around it's wide base. It's also a holy site for some Native Americans and shamans. For those reasons, and whatever other reasons there may be, it's a powerful place. I've hiked all over it and always felt it's power, the presence of it, its memory perhaps.

On the day I saw my UFO, I was just hanging with my dog on a beautiful summer's day in northeastern New Mexico, didn't have a lot to do, not a lot on my mind, relaxed, at ease, pretty darn happy. And then I turned to look at Rabbit Ear Mountain. I saw this silver cigar-shaped thing in the sky, floating over Rabbit Ear, floating over the top of the mountain, one end pointing west, the other end pointing east. It didn't magically appear. I originally looked west and then turned and looked at Rabbit Ear, and that's when I first saw this thing.

It moved over the mountain, casting a shadow, moving slow, slow, slow. I remember frowning when I first saw it because it was so close, so big, moving so slow, and I didn't immediately recognize it. I mean, I knew it was an aircraft right away. I didn't even question that, not initially: Aircraft. I knew I saw technology. But when I look at a plane or a boat or a car I immediately recognize the technology-why, that's a jet plane or a racing boat or a sports car, you get what I mean, and that didn't happen when I first saw this thing. And that continued not to happen. I kept on seeing an aircraft, I was sure, but one I didn't recognize, which I found a little strange.

I thought, "Well, okay, that's a blimp. Has to be." Because it looked like a blimp, right? A big blimp. A cigar-shaped blimp. And then I wondered, "What the heck is a blimp doing out here?" And then I started to give the thing a serious look-over because at that point my curiosity was piqued, mostly because it didn't look like a blimp at all. It looked like a silver cigar. It looked just like the UFOs I've heard about, those silver cigar-shaped UFOs. I crossed my arms and went all steely-eyed skeptical.

"No way. Nope. That's no UFO. That's a blimp. Has to be." I laughed, maybe a little too much, too strongly.

You have to realize that the mountain and the UFO were not very far away. Rabbit Ear Mountain is a few miles from the motel, right across the street to the north. You could cross the highway, hop the fence, hop a couple more fences, cross another distant road, walk to the base and hike to the top in an afternoon, and you wouldn't be winded either because the slopes are so gradual. You'd make it home before sunset.

The mountain also rests in the wheat-coloured grass of the high planes, so: no trees to block the view, just mellow, easygoing high and empty planes. You can see cows stroll along the rocky top from where I sat. Rabbit Ear Mountain isn't very big, but even so, at the top it's at least 800 feet across from edge to edge, west to east. I've walked it. About 800 feet, maybe a 1000, but that's pushing it, I think. The thing is, the aircraft I saw floating over the top of Rabbit Ear stretched the entire top-length of the mountain. That would make it nearly 1000 feet long. That's a whole mile. That would mean the aircraft was about one mile in length and that couldn't be possible.

"Optical illusion," I told myself. And again I said, "Has to be." And then the thing turned north/northeast, turned slowly, just like a blimp would, and began to head away from me, Thor, the motel and the town of Clayton and all those people who lived there.

It had no markings. Not one. Not one that I could recognize, at any rate, not one that I could see. Not a single number, letter, nothing. Just totally silver. No propellers. No jet engines. No engines that I could see and/or recognize. No engine noise either--silent as the grave. All I could hear was my breathing, my thoughts, and the gentle breeze, and Thor's snorting ('cause he didn't believe it either). It didn't have carriages suspended underneath with a captain and crew like you see on blimps. No tail fins. No windows. No nothing. Nothing that I recognized as ancient and/or modern aircraft technology was on that thing. I couldn't recognize anything about it other than it was a vessel of some kind.

I turned to Thor and asked him, "Well, that the heck do you think about that, good buddy?" And he and I just sat there and watched that silver cigar-shaped thing fade away into the horizon. We watched it for 45 minutes. I studied it for 45 minutes, going over it and over it, trying to figure it out. It never took off like all the other UFOs take off, shwoop! and they're gone in a second, in the blink of an eye. Nope. It just meandered away like an old cowboy on an old horse until I couldn't see it anymore. Just like a blimp would.

I've been told I witnessed an air bubble. Possible, I suppose, some kind of natural phenomenon that I misinterpreted. But I've often asked myself that had it been an air bubble or some kind of natural phenomenon, wouldn't I have understood, wouldn't I have recognized on some basic level, that what I was seeing was natural and not technology, not built, especially after studying it and studying it intensely for 45 minutes? This thing looked built, like a plane or a boat or a car looks built. I've seen air bubbles. I've seen big silver air bubbles. And none of them look built as I understand built to look.

The thing that bothers my friend now is this: okay, so I watched this thing, whatever it was, watched it move slowly over Rabbit Ear Mountain and then turn away and disappear slowly. I watched it for 45 minutes, trying to figure out what the heck it was. And then I shrugged, turned to Thor and said, "Ready for dinner?" and hardly gave it another thought. I returned to the motel's office with my dog, gave him dinner, turned on the TV and as I watched the X-Files I giggled with my hand over my mouth, giggled about the silver cigar-shaped thing I saw in the sky over Rabbit Ear Mountain.

That's about as far as I ever went with it. I never thought to get the binoculars and take a closer look. I never thought to get the camera and take a photo. I never went to town and asked anyone there if they saw the big silver cigar-shaped UFO in the sky. Never even crossed my mind to do so. This bothers my friend a lot, part of the reason why I'm writing this now.

You might wonder why I behaved like that, think it strange behavior that I reacted so coolly, but I think I simply accepted the fact that what I saw was something I didn't understand, be it air bubble, UFO or experimental aircraft and I was, truly, cool with that.

I tend to lean toward experimental aircraft, something governmental, secret, all that. That's what I tell myself it probably was. That's what I tell myself. Experimental aircraft. Had to be. But I'll never be sure. Air bubble? Experimental aircraft? Alien space ship? Hallucination? If Thor could only talk!

That's it.

Thanks again for reading this, and if you have any insight into my UFO experience, please send it my way. I'd love to know what you think.

All the best to you and yours.

Thank you to the witness for an excellent and very interesting report, plus an excellent diagram.

Helicopter Chasing Two Glowing Blue Cigar Shaped UFOs Over Knightdale North Carolina

Date:  March 14, 2012
Time:  12:00 a.m.

Hi, I live in Knightdale, NC and just saw something very strange (03-14-12). I was watching TV at exactly 12:00 a.m. and heard a very, very loud sound of a helicopter, so loud that I felt the need to go outside and investigate.

When I went outside I saw a helicopter approaching my neighborhood at a very high speed, it was like it was giving it all it had.

I continued to watch it, and as it flew right over my house I was able to see 2 cigar shaped objects that were glowing blue with what looked like red lights at their tails, the helicopter was flying very close behind as if it were chasing them!

I was only able to see the UFOs for about 10 - 20 seconds as they were passing over my house, then they seemed to vanish!

Although I was able to see the helicopter's lights at a distance way before and after passing over my home.

I have no idea what I just experienced, but felt the need to share it with someone who may appreciate/or shed some light on what I am experiencing. Thanks.

Hovering Cigar Shaped UFO Spotted Over North Carolina

Date:  Roughly 1990’s

Yes I saw a very similar object about 20 years ago. I was taken a trip to North Carolina and what I saw was a oblong object hovering in the sky.

Now mind you, I may have been in the beginning of North Carolina on route 95 south.

I mentioned the site to a fellow passenger and asked him to pull over and he did, this object had 2 sets of lights red on one end and blue on the other. As we kept the focus on the object, it seemed to be hovering, then started moving in sideways motion and at that time.

I knew it was not anything we were used to seeing in our friendly skies. (I do believe they exist)

Police Chase Orange Cigar Shaped UFO Over Runcorn In Cheshire UK

Date:  1970s
Time:  Evening.

I too remember a similar incident, but with the local police in Runcorn U.K. chasing what seemed to them to be cigar shaped UFO, orange in colour. This was way back in the 1970s. This was reported in the local press.

Credible witnesses such as policemen are very important to the ongoing research for UFOlogists everywhere. I too have witnessed UFOs on many occasions. I just hope that one day soon, all these sightings will be proven to be extraterrestrial or otherwise.

Loud Cracking/Roaring Noise Coming From Massive Glowing Blue Cigar Shaped Object Over Hervey Bay Queensland Australia

Date:  May/June 2006
Time:  Approx: 10:30 p.m.

Hey there, how's it going? I just decided to watch this new show on OLN, the "UFO Hunters",  even though I haven't paid much attention to the show in the past and I still don't, but I've shared the same experience you had mentioned yourself and I figured I'd just open my laptop up and see if I could find any information on what I saw, or if I could find anyone else who had seen the same thing.

Now this all took place in may/June 2006. I've never used the internet then like I do now, so this is why I'm emailing you. I flew to Sydney, Australia, to where I met my wife and we prepared to set off for a journey we knew we'd only see probably once in our lifetime.

We stayed in Sydney for about a week, travelled 13 hours north to a place called Byron Bay where we stayed for about 2 weeks.

Our next stop was a few more hours north to a small town called Hervey Bay where we had stayed and worked for a couple months to build our bank accounts up for the next move further up the east coast.

It was about 10:30pm and we just shared a pizza and decided to go for a walk to town just to see the night life etc..

We heard this very loud cracking/roaring noise almost like a jet would sound when it passed at high speed, but the noise didn't just come and go, it roared in the distance.

We looked behind us, and in the sky we seen this massive "cigar" shaped object that was glowing bright bright blue and was travelling far faster than any plane I've ever seen before.

The light the object was giving off definitely lit the whole sky, and the town below, and we could clearly see way out into the ocean as it was passing.

It wasn't just blue and glowing, it had a tail of colors coming off the back that was easily 2 times longer than the cigar shaped object itself. Immediately I was looking around for people to share the experience with, so we weren't alone with it, but we were the only ones around.

We only seen the object for 15-20 seconds before it swept past the sky and completely vanished. If I was to say how far this was away from us, it was a good 50-60km+ away and I'd have to say it was at least 1500+ feet in the air.

One thing that was consistent though, it wasn't heading "down to earth", it made it’s way from one end of the sky to the other, south to north and it had a very consistent speed that didn't change, and the sound didn't change until it was out of sight.

That's really all I got to say about it. Not sure if it was a meteor, or what it was, we were excited about seeing it, but also curious as to why no one else in the town had seen it and we spent 3 months in that town.

Your write up was the first I read, and I'm happy to reply to it.

Mile Long White/Blue Cigar Shaped UFO Over Winnipeg Manitoba

Date:  May 25, 2011
Time:  8:30 p.m.

You mentioned if anyone else saw anything similar to the story I just read on your site, that you would like to know. Here it is. Winnipeg last night at exactly 8:30 pm May 25, 2011 I was outside in my back yard "Elmwood area". I was watching the planes doing rounds over my area which in its self was odd.

I noticed way up, miles overhead to the south that there was a huge cigar shaped object it appeared to be 1+ miles long and was glowing white/blue, it was moving extremely fast horizontally from west to east. It was in view for approximately 3 minutes then disappeared.

There was no trail behind it. There was 4 of us at home at the time and we all agreed that it was not a plane or a satellite. A few friends have suggested that maybe it was that Russian plane that's visiting Winnipeg, but I can discount that as that Russian plane was one of the planes doing round overhead and it was above Winnipeg, not South of Winnipeg.

I contacted the Winnipeg planetarium and they will be getting back to me. Thank-you.

Cigar Shaped UFO Over Caledon Ontario Northwest Sky

Date: July 25, 2011
Time: 4:30 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Cigar shaped.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I noticed something in the corner of my eye as I was watching the cloud formation. I went in and grabbed my camera and started taking pictures. I'm sending the pictures to your email address.

The cloud ended up covering the object. I saw a grey object that had the exact same shape just south of here around 9 year's ago, but never blue.

I figure it was trying to make itself the same color as the sky, close though!

I'm sure now that there back in the area, I'll be out with the camera tonight.

The Vike Factor: I will see if I can get the photos to add to the report, I am sure I received them, but being down for a few months things got lost.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Cigar And Triangular UFOs Observed Over Clovis New Mexico (Area Map In Report)

Date: 1973-1977
Time: N/A.

Brian, my wife was online this evening looking at video of the supposed UFO in Jerusalem flying over the Dome of the Rock.

Huge Cigar Shaped UFO Seen By Thousands Of New Year's Eve Revelers Near Lorne Victoria Australia

Date: Either 1968 or 1969
Time: Approx: 1:00 a.m. – 2:00 a.m.

Hi, My name is (name removed) and I am now 64 years old. I lived in Melbourne until 1973 and then moved to the Far North Coast of NSW where I still reside.

My UFO sighting occurred in the early hours of New Years Day (approx. 1:00 – 2:00am) either 1968 or 1969 when I was aged 20 or 21. My friend (name removed) and I had celebrated New Year's Eve at Lorne, Victoria. Back in those day, the New Year's Eve celebrations drew big crowds of young people listening to rock 'n roll and partying in the streets. Even though a lot of people drank excessively, neither my friend or myself did. My friend was a dedicated surfer who didn't like to suffer from hangovers.

Back to the story. We left Lorne in the early hours and drove west to our camping spot at Kennett River. At the time we seemed to be the only car driving along that section of the Great Ocean Road. Suddenly a huge UFO appeared from the right over the ranges with smaller ones trailing. It was the shape of a cigar and it did have lights along the side we could see. It really was huge, but seemed to be very high in the sky also. The ones trailing were just specks of light.

I can't remember now if there were 3 or 4 or about a dozen. My friend and I were really shocked. We had time to pull to the side of the road in one of the parking bays, and just watch this huge UFO with the little ones following for a couple of minutes. Like I said before, it appeared from the right over the ranges and then disappeared out to sea in the Great Australian Bight, and if I remember correctly, this took a number of minutes. After they disappeared into the distance, we just sat there talking about what we'd seen and how frightened we felt even though nothing untoward had happened to us.

After a while we continued driving back to the camping ground at Kennett River.

The next day or day after, I read a small article in a newspaper (and I can't remember which one) about UFOs being sighted near Lorne by thousands of New Year's Eve revelers.

Of course, when relating my UFO story over the next 40 years, people always fall about laughing when I tell them it happened on New Year's Eve near Lorne, because everyone thinks we were drunk or stoned. Not so. I always add that I'm not saying it was from outer space, but it was an Unidentified Flying Object with smaller ones flying, and I have never seen anything like it before or since. It was huge, very high in the sky, and in sight for 2 - 3 minutes.

What really puzzles me is that I haven't been able to find any reference to this story on the internet, and a few years ago, whilst in Melbourne, I went to the State Library and spent some time checking old newspapers, to no avail, even though it was reported that thousands of people saw it. I've also lost contact with my friend who would be in his late 60s by now. I would love to hear if anyone else can remember this incident.

Two Whitish Cigar/Rectangular Shaped Objects Over Kincardine Ontario Canada

Date: January 1, 2011
Time: 8:45 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Kincardine Ontario Canada.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 2
Shape of Objects: Cigar/rectangular.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Observed while stargazing in the hot tub, in windy and partially cloudy conditions. There were two whitish cigar/rectangular shaped objects flying lockstep in tandem, side by side maintaining a gap between them equal to their own length.

Concealed at first by clouds, seeming to emerge below them perhaps descending to a lower altitude, the pair carried on their southern bearing out of view at a steady rate of speed. At first mistaken as shooting stars, then thought to be seagulls which typically wouldn't be flying in small numbers at this time of night, no other seagulls were seen in the area. They looked to be following the western shore of Lake Huron, 1.5 km west of my residence.

Metallic Cigar/Saucer Shaped UFO Over Plummers Cove Jacksonville Florida

Date: December 31, 2010
Time: 2:30 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Jacksonville Florida.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Cigar/saucer shaped.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: We were driving over the Buckman Bridge (I-295) heading east. As we (my fiancé and myself) were coming over the span heading east-bound (on the east side) I looked out over an area called Plummers Cove, which was just to the east-north-east of our location on the bridge, when I spotted a cigar shaped object hovering low on the horizon, just over the tree line.

At first, I thought it was just a P-3 Orion Naval aircraft (we were just south of NAS Jax). But upon further inspection, it was not an aircraft. I was able to triangulate it's precise location as I was coming down the bridge, because there were tall objects in the distance (the south side radio tower farm) and I had a vantage point that was the same height as the object, which allowed me to see trees in the distance behind the object, which made it easy to tell the object was in front of them and just over the tree line just east of the river, about 50 feet above the trees.

The object was metallic and cigar/saucer shaped and had what looked like little protrusions coming from the bottom of the object. There was no vertical stabilizers and it was not a blimp. The object was about the size of a car in relation to the trees it was over and the trees that were behind it, in the distance. The object remained stationary over the the trees. Even as we were moving at a rate of about 65mph, the object never moved from it's spot.

Our visual of the object was lost when we went lower than the tree line on the far east side of the bridge (here the bridge is about 30 feet off the water).

I'm a pilot, I'm very well trained in aircraft recognition and have never seen anything like this. It was very strange.

Later that night, strange lights were also seen in the area by several people, that I later read about.

Cigar Shaped UFO With Red Lights On It Over Murrieta California

Date: January 3, 2011
Time: 9:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Murrieta California.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Unsure.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was in my back yard when I noticed a very bright light in the sky. At first I thought it was a very bright star. Then I noticed it was moving in a northerly direction. I thought it may be a plane until I realized it was way too bright. I went into the house to get my binoculars, but couldn't find them.

Then I looked for my camera and realized I left at a Christmas party. I went back outside and the object was still moving in the same direction. I noticed what seemed to be a meteor that looked like it fell from the object. It passed behind a tree and I saw it when it went past the tree. I noticed what looked like two flares, one shooting upward and one shooting downward.

Then the light became very bright and disappeared. I immediately saw a small red light after it disappeared, then it also disappeared. It appeared to be a cigar shape, with very bright lights all the way around it. They did not diminish when the object headed away from me, as lights from an airplane would.

I didn't hear any noise, but the object may have been to far away. I don't believe it was a plane or helicopter. I thought it may have been a blimp moving fairly quickly, but it would have had to have some very bright lights all the way around it. I didn't see anything on the news, and felt I should report it to somebody.

Cigar Shaped UFOs With Search Lights Seen Over Balgowlah Sydney Australia

Date: January 1, 2010
Time: Midnight.

Location of Sighting: Balgowlah Sydney Australia.
Number of witnesses: 3
Number of Objects: 4
Shape of Objects: Cigar.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: We saw four of them in the sky with search lights. There was no sound and they weren't flying, they moved more like gliding. They defiantly weren’t Chinese lanterns. I would love to know what they were. They seemed to be moving very quick from the fireworks, then slowed down when they got away.
