Hello, I too saw the very bright light travelling fast across the sky around 2140 hrs and would be interested to know what it was, as it appeared to be low down in the sky compared to the stars out.

Bright Light With Orange Yellow Tail Over Stockport Northwest England Cheshire UK

Time:  Approx: 9:45 p.m.

 

About 9:45 p.m. this evening March 3rd, 2012, over the Stockport (north west England Cheshire area) I saw what started as a very bright light travelling towards me and past me in the sky.

 

I noticed it had a very long bright orange/yellow trail.

 

Travelling north south direction. I thought it may have been a firework, continued to watch it for approximately 40 seconds. The tail seemed to get smaller and object disappeared out of view.

 

It would be interesting to know what this was?

 

It seems to me that if it was a meteor then it was very large?

Object With Huge Fire Trail Behind Then The Lights Went Out At Stockport UK

I seen it, I was travelling on the M-60 just past Stockport. It shot straight above us and had a huge fire trail behind it, then it all went dark.

Black Disc Shaped UFO Observed Over Offerton Stockport UK

Time:  8:30 p.m.

 

Number of witnesses: 1

Number of Objects: 1

Shape of Objects: Disc.

 

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I sat watching TV when I noticed a black object in the distance. I went to have a look with my binoculars in back garden, when to my surprise I a black disc moving towards me. There was no sound and
it seem to be turning one way, then the other.

 

It  was about 250-300 feet in the air as a rough estimate. It was 20-30 feet in diameter. As it went over my house I went to my front door, expecting to get another view, but it had disappeared.

 

It had only took me 15 seconds to go from my back garden. If you can shed any light on my sighting, please e-mail me. It could be a blimp, but how can it just disappear

Fast Moving Orange Glowing Object Over High Lane Stockport UK

Time: Evening.

Hi, last Friday (April 29 2011) I witnessed the same phenomenon (I’m in High Lane Stockport). My first thought was that it was a military jet igniting afterburners, but it was far too close to Manchester airport flight path and approach, and not even close to Woodford approach. I ran to the west looking window and it suddenly shot skyward and disappeared.

If it was a jet with afterburners, why didn’t I hear the noise? Even here in High Lane, I can often hear the sound of commercial jetliners reversing thrust at Manchester airport. I estimate that what I saw was only 3 or 4 miles way and low on the horizon. I can’t believe that even if it was a military or experimental aircraft that it would have been allowed to fly in civil airspace.

Fast Moving Bright Orange Light Davenport Stockport Cheshire UK

Hi there, I was out walking my dog on Friday 28th Jan when I saw this very bright orange light moving rapidly across the sky over Davenport, Stockport Cheshire at around 22.30. I thought the Aliens had found earth.

Have not seen it tonight though, there is time yet.

Large Pink Purple Ball With Tail Seen Over Stockport UK

HI, after leaving work in Stockport last night at around 5:00pm. I joined the M60 motorway at junction 27 heading towards Altrincham. Just before the pyramid junction on the driver’s side, I’m sure I saw through my front window a large pink/purple ball shape with what looked like a long tail.

A bit commit looking. It seemed to be going very fast and then suddenly disappeared. It defiantly wasn’t a lantern. It also seemed quite low.

High Pitched Rattles Windows Over Burnage/Heaton Mersey Stockport Cheshire UK

Time: Approx: 4:30 a.m.

Brian, A neighbor of mine highlighted an incident on Wednesday morning at approximately 4:30am. He had got up to use the bathroom only to be interrupted by two high pitched noise’s, (separated by a few seconds) and then rattling of the house windows, following each noise.

The adjacent road has speed bumps and vehicles travelling at high speed ‘’bottom out’’ scrapping the body work, which was not heard on this occasion, nor did the noise have a build up as with a helicopter or plane, and subsequent decrease.

His impression was of something travelling at high speed, creating some pressure wave? Location Burnage/Heaton Mersey border on Barcicroft Road, Stockport Cheshire. Just wondered if any other reports had cropped up? Regards.

5 Red Lights Observed Over Romiley Near Stockport UK

Time: Approx: 6:15 p.m.

Hi, my name is (name removed). On Friday the 12/2/10 at approximately 6.15 in the evening I was travelling home and as I joined the M60 from the M67 at Denton heading toward Stockport I noticed 5 red lights seemingly to be hovering over head.

They were moving slowly in no formation and then one disappeared, the rest carried on hovering. I could not stop longer as I was on the hard shoulder. Later that evening in Romiley near Stockport I spotted 3 more this was about 9 pm. Then on Sunday as I was leaving Boysnope Golf club in Irlam saw another 2 both hovering but no engine noise. I stopped and pointed them out to my partner we watched then one moved away. As I arrived home I noticed one directly above are home slowly moving but no engine noise. Can you explain what they are please? Regards.
