Full Description of Event/Sighting: For the past few days, once night hits there has been strange lights over Mount Benson glowing with colors from red, green, white, orange and blue.
Some have been by themselves, well others have been in formation. Last night there was a bright white light moving in between them just to vanish into thin air.
Now I can't say I know there UFOs, but those aren't navigation lights and is the strangest thing I’ve ever seen in the sky.
I see you live in Nanaimo, tonight look over Mount Benson as I would love to here other people's opinion.

I just saw this tonight as well. I was told about by an employee who saw it last night along with 5 of his friends. They saw it and said the same about the lights and the ray of light but they saw it move fast and not in a way a plane or helicopter would. The colours I saw were red, green or blue and white. From time to time there would be a ray or shot of white. My Son and his girlfriend have seen these odd things as well. My son saw it over the ocean, the spotlight type thing, the colours and the odd fast movements. Then nothing. I am curious of what it could be.
