Time: 10:15 p.m. until 11:17 p.m.
We reside in Parksville and have observed a bright light flashing white, red and green hovering still for prolonged periods, then moving left to right in fairly small circular moves, very gradually shifting right and lower across the night sky towards Mount Arrowsmith.
Since I first peered out our window at 10:15 tonight. It is now 11:17 and it is still hovering out there. I hope someone else is able to observe this tonight as well. Best regards.

It is 9:25 pm on April 5/2012and I see the exact same thing and It is very strange. Very clear night and my family went out to appreciate a beautiful full moon and the clear stars. This "star" was blinking blue green red and white so I assumed it was a jet or a plane or a helicopter up over Errington. I am looking from Parksville. The strange thing is .....20 minutes later and it is still in exactly the same spot.....very colourful and clear and obviously not a star. Very strange.
