I live in Salmon Arm and I went out to my hot tub tonight at about 7:40. The sky was still pretty light, but I noticed that there were two very bright lights, one above the other in the west sky.
There were no stars visible anywhere as it was quite light still. I have been watching them for over an hour now. The stars have finally appeared, but pale in comparison. These lights are much bigger and far brighter than anything else in the sky.
They are not moving and appear quite low in the sky in comparison to the stars. Very odd. Not twinkling. Is it possible that these lights are Venus and Mars?
If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Brian, concidering that stars or even planets cannot be seen during daylight that these are not planets . Being as bright as they are I dont believe that they are ufos either,i have also observed the bright object there in the sky been watching it for weeks and its getting brighter but I only see the one ,if I had a teliscope we would actualy see three . I think that it is planet X on its way in to pass through our solar system . \if it is be prepared for it to hit the fan if you know what Imean. If it is not its big and its coming towards us at an alarming speed. Comet? dont know ufo no star no . I know that in june venis is going to pass between us and the sun ...arouind the fifth .... a rare event to say the leest keep an eye out for that. There is a hoopy prophasey that describes the passing of two comets \?? a blue and a red >>> the destroyer is returning also known as the red dragon spoken of in myths hystory speaks volums if you have done any research from the samerians on even before????
