Time: Evening.
Hi, I live in Hamden, Connecticut and I saw the light from my couch while watching TV. I was surprised by how bright and fast it was. I have seen a lot of meteorites, but never a green one.
There was a small plane in view add it passed the plane was tiny in comparison.

I saw the bright green object. I first saw a bright flash which caused me to glance to the window in time to see the greenish object streaking from west to east. It resembled a roman candle but instead of vertical travel it was moving horizontal.
