We are so relieved that others witnessed this event in Lincoln, NE. We too saw 7 orange-red orbs above our house on 11-27-08 at 22:13 hrs.
They were about 100 feet up and flying N. to S. There were 5 at first and then 2 more appeared. They made no noise. Who can help us solve this mystery?

Dude, I used to work at Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto, and in about 2001 or 2002, me and another guy were working a night shift and I pointed out a series of red lights. they were sort of in a V formation, but one side was longer than the other. The lights seemed to be moving on their own, but stayed in their formation. the moved in a South/West direction. Not so much by the point, but more along the longer side of the V. We both saw it. Neither on of us could detect a sound. The airport is nearby, but end to end, much bigger than any airplane, and was very slow moving.
