Time: Daytime.
I live in the metro Phoenix area and I am watching the sky's alot more than I used to. One day in March/08, I saw a biplane over the city of Mesa come to a complete stop. I first noticed it because it seemed to be flying awfully low and very slow, plus it was painted an ugly orange color.
There are alot of sightings here if you just pay attention. At least once a week I watch what I think is an airplane and it disappears into thin air. They are usually shaped like a military plane, either silver or white.
I am totally amazed, that I see them this often and wonder if anybody else sees them. They are always daytime sightings.

Was driving west on broadway this late morning
ReplyDeleteabout crismon and witnessed an odd looking aircraft
to the north very large and odd design it was flying so slow north of main to the west the wings and plane
reminded me of a rigid balloon instead of a solid skin and seemed to have propellers x4. it looked foreign in design and not usa. It could not have been doing more than 100mph which is slow for a plane. the wings were straight and not swepped in any way. 2012NOV10 about midday. it was very large and very slow flying.Dark in color. not like any WW2 plane I ever saw. looked experimental. Saw a leer jet with stubby wings looked like a cruise missile was flying so low making a turn could see the copilot wearing white shirt looking out the window of the cockpit to where it was turing right twards falcon field.
Think it might be one of those new supersonic leer jets because of the relatively short main wings.
the leer jet was seen several years ago about staply and broadway very low over a shopping center area.
In the 1990s witnessed a triangle of lights flying east north of university about 90MPH as i Watched the seemingly large craft broke formation into small piper like craft and landed at falcon field. They appeared to be using some kind of formation keeping autopilot I never heard about before because the formation was so perfect, how could humans fly so evenly.
