Spinning White Object Spotted Over Altadena California (Graphic)

Came across your website and decided to write to you about my sighting on Saturday November 29, 2011 around 10:30 a.m.

I live on Grandeur Ave of Altadena Drive. I was talking to my neighbor in his yard and noticed a white object which I spotted at a relatively low altitude in a northwesterly direction.

We tracked it for about a minute as it drifted slowly west and appeared to be rotating at a slow speed.

My neighbor commented to his dad (who's visiting from France) that it was most likely a weather balloon launched by JPL.

It appeared white, but had noticeable protrusion from it’s side which ended in a darker shape.

The object appeared to be spinning which was made noticeable by its irregular shape. The sky was perfectly clear and blue and void of any wind. The object was silent and moved slowly and predictably.

I decided to run into my house to grab the camera and took all but 30 seconds to come out again, but the object had vanished. I scanned the sky without relocating the object again.

It seemed strange that such a slow moving object that was large enough to be spotted would so quickly disappear.

Bright Red UFO Over North Of Altadena California

Date: October 10, 2010

Time: Evening.

Hello Brian, I sent you an e-mail on September, in regard to an UFO I saw. This last Sunday night I saw the same object at the same sky location I saw it the first time. I really would like to know if what I saw is for real. The first time I saw a UFO was years ago, in an affluent resort area surrounded by lakes in Valle de Bravo, Estado de Mexico.

When I saw that red bright UFO I thought it was an airplane, seconds later that object moved at an incredible speed, remained at the same spot above the lake in front of the terrace I was, and seconds later it flew away at a incredible speed. I began to scream to my wife to get out of the house and see it, and she saw it too...(That's why every time I related that event, I always pointed out that I had a witness).

Now I want to know exactly what it is that I am looking at: above (in the sky) the mountains at the same latitude and altitude. Like in the first time I saw it, I thought it could be a helicopter at a great altitude, but then it moved upward to another spot to stay there for a long, long time, so I decided to go to bed. I think it's an UFO, but I can be wrong. If you have somebody in this area I can show exactly from the window in my office at home the location to make sure of what it is.

Object Spotted Over The Mountains From Zorthian Ranch Altadena California

Hello, I am not usually the kind to write emails to people I don't know. I am writing tonight only to say that I have witnessed a strange object in late September of last year over Altadena. Tonight I have decided to look for facts of other sightings in Altadena area and came across your blog. Best regards.

Hi, It taken me some time to write back, my apology. The sighting has occurred on the night of 20-21 September(I might be off by a day or two) in 2009 I was visiting a friend in Altadena at Zorthian Ranch. Yes, we both saw it. At around midnight I spotted a strange object that appeared above the mountains on the east side and it continued to move very slowly following the contour of the mountain, very low toward the south side of the mountain.

The object moved across the sky without producing any noise, yet it was glowing with a very neon type of florescent glow. The center part of it was bright white and on the bottom of it were multiple colored lights that looked like there are diodes changing from blues to yellows and reds very gradually, slightly pulsating.

The object has been moving slowly at constant speed and it would cover the distances between electrical LAP towers in two minutes and then disappear near the south LAP tower, only to reappear at the east one 5 minutes later, just doing this again for 2 minutes and disappeared. We have been watching it for about 2 hours, until we got very sleepy. More over I have spotted another object on the east side of the sky and the object was gradually raising. It was larger then any big stars I have seen.

Orange Object Changes Shape And Color Over Altadena California

Date: September 25, 2010
Time: Approx: 10:00 p.m.

Hi, I was coming down from a hike in Echo Canyon above Altadena on Saturday night 9/25 about 10:00pm with three friends. I see this object traveling southeast and I'm guessing its about 8,000 feet up in the sky. It started out a bright fiery orange and cylinder shaped.

It continued on, but then turned a white circular shape and continued a bit more. I even noticed that it let out what looked like a smoke plum in it's trail. It went a little more and completely disappeared. No sound whatsoever came from it. It did not blink either like as if it was an aircraft.

Very strange. We all witnessed it. Hoping you might have an explanation for what I saw and I would assume others witnessed the same thing? Thanks.

Large Reddish Spherical Object Over Altadena California

Date: September 21-22, 2010

Time: From 11:00 p.m. to roughly 1:00 a.m.

Location of Sighting: North of Altadena.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Sometimes it could be seen bigger and reddish, usually was spherical, but one time it looked like a large cylinder, specially when descending (not too low)

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I usually stay up reading late. I was expecting to see another celestial phenomena and went out and saw a huge planet close to the moon. I came back to my desk that faces the mountains to the north.

I thought I was seeing a star, but then it moved around I thought in an helicopter, it even lasted a long time and was in the same latitude and altitude. But the most amazing thing is that stayed in that area, but moving higher little by little and disappeared.
