Bright Object Seen In The Eastern Sky From Richmond British Columbia (Pictures)

It was at 6:24 p.m. February 17, 2015 here in Richmond, British Columbia

 Big light stood still. It wasn't a star, was too low and it wasn't a plane.

Additional Information:

Hi it was on the eastern part of the sky and from what I saw was one object. I viewed it for about 5 minutes.

Orange Glowing Object Spinning In Circles In The Sky Over Eastern Washington State

I just witnessed an orange glowing object spinning in circles moving west to east over our night sky in Eastern Washington State!  Unreal!

Bright Green Colored Object Seen Over The Sunrise Highway In Eastern Suffolk UK

Time:  Approx: 8:00 p.m.

 

I definitely saw the same thing green object on 3/5/2010. I was driving westbound on Sunrise Highway in Eastern Suffolk at about 20:00 hours, when I saw a bright, green-colored object plummet from the sky, which then seemed to disappeared. 

 

I saw this object as I was looking at what I believe to be Jupiter and Venus.

Orange Lights Spotted Over Dwesa In The Eastern Cape South Africa

Hi there, this is really strange. I was on holiday at Dwesa in the Eastern Cape, watching the stars when my friend and I saw strange lights in sky on the night of the 1st or rather early in the morning of the 2nd. 

 

Was only taking a chance to see if anyone else had seen it as well, so I Googled it. Was really surprised to find other people had seen it as well. Regards.

Three Orange Lights Observed Over Eastern Pennsylvania

 

Date:  January 1, 2012

Time:  Between midnight and 12:30 a.m.

 

Saw three orange lights over Eastern PA tonight between midnight and 12:30 a.m., moving NE to SW at a heading of about 110 degrees. Lights were spaced approximately a minute apart, moving like space
objects, but not meteors.

 

I've never seen aircraft that looked like this, no strobes or marker lights,  just an orange glow. The first light "burned out" just past overhead, the second was glowing quite a bit further, the third "burned out" about overhead, but an object could definitely be seen continuing without the glow.

Looking up Iridium flares (closest thing I could think of) there were none near the time - also, I've never heard of three in a row quickly like that.

This was also seen by 15 others, all wondering what they were.

Bright Orange Lights Over The Sea At Port Alfred Eastern Cape South Africa

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was interested to read about the orange lights seen in the sky last night in Australia. I am living in Port Alfred Eastern Cape South Africa. At 8 o'clock this evening, 1st January 2012 I went to open the bedroom window which faces south and saw a bright orange light over the sea moving from west to east.

 

As we never see aircraft over the sea, I went to the large east facing window to watch the light. It was travelling fast and soon disappeared behind some very light cloud, within seconds I looked up and saw another orange light directly overhead, and shouted to my husband to come and watch.

 

This light also moved quickly and there was absolutely no sound whatsoever and once again it disappeared. Within seconds a third orange light appeared over the sea and followed the same pattern as the first.

 

This sighting was really strange and I did try and take a picture with my cell phone of the third light, but it seems it has not come out. I would love to hear your thoughts.

Circular Balls Of Fire Floating In The Sky At The Eastern Side Of Windsor Ontario

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My husband and I were smoking in the backyard when we saw these circular balls of fire floating in the sky. They were flying from the west to the east. They were flying in a straight line and would disappear into no where.

 

These objects looked like balls of fire.

Bright Orange Fiery Light Over The Eastern Shore Of Lake Ontario

Date: July 24, 2011
Time: Approx: 9:30 p.m.

We have a camp on the Eastern Shore of lake Ontario. Around 9:30pm from the north to the south shore a bright orange fiery light appear to go across the sky. It was at eye level and it was not a plane the color was too bright orange to be either.

Could it have been a satellite not sure. It traveled about a minute or so in that direction, then a sharp 45 degree turn and headed west for about another minute then disappeared.

4 adults were watching and then we went back inside. About another 5 or so minutes, maybe 10 it appeared again out on the western horizon. At that point it came east towards us for about 30 seconds or so and then it was gone. What do you think.

Cluster Of Lights In The Field And Feeling Disoriented At Kasouga Eastern Cape South Africa

Hi there, my name is (name removed) and I live in the Eastern Cape in South Africa. I am not sure what happened, but the more I have thought about it, the more I am inclined to think that it must have been some sort of ET experience.

On Friday night 9th December 2009, it must have been about 9:00pm, I was driving home along the coastal road from Port Alfred to Kasouga. The whole area is farm land and very deserted at night. Just before the turn off to my home in Kasouga, I saw a cluster of lights in the field. It immediately caught my attention because there is nothing there except farm land and herds of cows from time to time. I did look again just before I turned off the main road and couldn't see anything. I didn't stop, and carried on my journey, turning off onto the sand road that leads to where I lived.

I have been travelling that road since I was a child, but I truly felt like I didn't know where I was, it was very bright and still, almost surreal. I felt very disoriented. I stopped the car to make sure that I was on the right road, telling myself all the time that I couldn't be lost as I know the road and have been travelling the road for years, yet it still felt that it was wrong.

I kept going and as I came to a bend in the road, I saw the same cluster of lights some way off the road where there shouldn't be any lights, it is still farm land.

There were no other witnesses to this.

Blinking Light Changing Color South Eastern Oneida County Northern Wisconsin

Time: 12:45 a.m.

There is something in the sky as I am writing this. I am in far south eastern Oneida county in northern Wisconsin, the object is a blinking light seeming to change colors, it is fairly low in the sky in a west, southwest direction from me.

It is staying in the same place, but if I look at it long enough it appears to dart around a small area then stay still again. This could be merely an optical illusion from staring at it in the dark though I suppose.

Pinkish Orange Balls Of Light Over Eastern Sky Palmetto Florida

Date: January 8, 2011

Time: Approx: 8:40 p.m. to 8:50 p.m.

Brian my family and I were outside on our deck Saturday night when my daughter noticed three lights in the sky. I turned around and saw them. The largest of the three started to move south quickly across the sky. Stopped and then just faded out. The pinkish orange balls were in the eastern sky around 8:40 PM to 8:50 approximately by clock on our stove.

These lights were much to larger looking than anything I have ever seen. I thought they were meteor until the object that was stationary moved south across the sky and then disappeared. My wife and daughter got pictures, but the pictures do not do it any justice of what it looked like in person. What was it? Best Regards.

Object Looked Like A Cigar Shaped UFO Over North Eastern New Brunswick Canada

Hello Brian, I have just read your story on Sightings.com because I have seen the exact same thing you described this evening. I figured I'd Google it and try to find an explanation and I fell on your site. It was around 11:15pm, but there was only one. The people we were with said they had seen it last evening too, but didn't think too much about it until tonight.

The one we saw tonight looked like it was gliding at a steady slow speed from SE to N, but not in a straight line (we are situated in North Eastern New Brunswick, Canada). It actually looked like it almost came to a stop, turned to face north (at that point it was losing it's brightness, but looked like a cigar shaped object) and just started a climb through the clouds.

We could tell there were clouds because no stars were to be seen, and besides, we are expecting hurricane Earl to hit tomorrow in the Maritimes. Our friend was quick enough to grab a pair of binoculars and said it looked like a big ball of fire as he could see the orange brightness dancing.

Anyhow, we thought it was really weird and we had the same discussion you posted on your site, could it have been an air balloon? No because the fire goes on and off plus we should have been able to see the balloon lit up. Could it have been a satellite? No because it was under the clouds and too big and orange. A flare? No because flares are usually red and come down instead of climbing up. So, if you ever find an answer to this UFO, let us know.
