Bright White Object With Some Blue Coloring Spotted Over Santa Cruz California

Hi Brian, I read the post from your site below.

My wife (age 55) saw the same thing last night in Santa Cruz at the same time. It was much larger and brighter and differently colored than any "shooting star" she'd ever seen, and it was in the sky longer. 

 

There was even enough time for her to call back to me from outside, with the hope that I'd be able to see it as well.

I promised her I'd look online to see if there was any explanation.

Hi, I was walking home from work in Albany, California, it happened at 6:54 p.m. exactly, because I called my father right afterward. I was walking east, approaching Albany Middle school and I was gazing up at the sky. 

 

The sun had set about 30 minutes ago, the sky was navy, almost black with some cloud cover. I see a brilliant white spot with a hint if blue heading north, about 2-3 times faster than your typical passenger jet for an object of that size. 

 

Not in a straight line either, at a slight decline. It came and entered cloud cover which lit up a good portion of the clouds a bright blue and then was gone, disappeared as if someone turned off the lights.

 

I struggled to see any sign of an object, but saw nothing fall or disintegrate. Just poof, gone. It was an eerie thing to see, yet the light was magnificent, and beautiful. Never saw anything like it in my life.

Bright Orange Ring Of Fire Over Louden Nelson Center Santa Cruz California

Time:  Evening.

 

I was at the Louden Nelson Center in Santa Cruz Ca. Thursday evening February 16, 2012 when I noticed a crowd of people were looking straight up. It appeared to be a bright orange ring of fire with faint star like whitish blue line streaks like a bright planet low in horizon.

 

It slowly drifted to the west. My first thought was a balloon with something on fire below it. However the ring/fire seemed to be perfect as though created mechanically and flat. Had no dimension to it. Couldn't determine distance.

 

At arms length, disc appeared to be 1/4 inch diameter. It faded out quickly and drifted like a balloon would at the mercy of the wind currents. Also made a note to myself that it never made a course correction. It glowed slightly and seemed to tumble as it drifted faintly out of sight to the horizon.

V Or Triangular Shaped UFO Flying Over Santa Cruz California

 

Date:  2008

Time:  9:28 p.m.

 

I live in Santa Cruz CA. and have a new hobby watching and tracking satellites and I just saw a large V shape craft flying overhead for the third time within a month. Tonight at 9:28 p.m. PST, I saw it again, straight above me, gliding from south to north.

 

No lights at all, large V or triangle shape, lighter colored than the night sky.

The other times it flew from east to west, then next was southeast to northwest. It seemed to fly fairly slow, slower than satellites or airplanes, and no lights at all every time.

 

The only reason I can see it is because it is lighter than the night sky. Any input. CT Santa Cruz, California.

Huge Explosion In The Sky Over Santa Cruz California

 

Date:  November 16, 2009

Time:  Between 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

 

Tonight at approximately between 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the western night sky I saw what appeared to be an explosion, a very large one. I am not sure what I saw, but it wasn’t anything I have ever seen before and I watch the sky nightly.

 

There were no stars visible in the sky where a circle of light suddenly appeared, expanding quickly, in a burst. As it stopped expanding, a circle of light, a ring also expanded and dissipated around it.

 

The entire thing dissipated quickly and it was followed by several fairly large shooting stars near it.

 

It seemed to me that what I saw was a very large explosion or event in space. I wonder if anyone else saw anything tonight? November 16th. Santa Cruz Ca.

Orange Lights Spotted Over Santa Cruz California

Time:  Between 11:30 p.m. -12:00 a.m.

 

I also was having a NYE party last night, when I went out to smoke on the balcony and warn people the countdown was close. Several people were watching the exact orange glowing lights coming from the east slowly and then another would fallow.

 

We saw at least four between 11:30 p.m. -12:00 a.m. (12-31-11- New Years) I thought maybe a flare gun or Chinese lanterns, but there's no way. They looked more like fireballs. After some Googling I saw a blog with hundreds of posts from all around the world that saw the same thing.

 

I live on the beach in Santa Cruz California. No answers though.

Red Lights Observed Over Santa Cruz Harbor California USA

Time: Evening.

Myself and about 5 others saw red lights in the sky above the Santa Cruz Harbor on Saturday. They remained there for a few minutes and then disappeared all of a sudden. One of the lights lingered momentarily after the rest disappeared. It was definitely strange!

Ten Red Lights Floating Over The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk California USA

Time: 8:30 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 15
Number of Objects: 10
Shape of Objects: Round.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Ten red lights floating across the sky slowly. They were very far away, so I could not see the shape, but they were very close together. Planes would not be that close together. They also were not flashing, they were a constant red color.

They came from the horizon and moved to the right across the sky until under the moon, then instantly disappeared. Everyone on the beach was taking photos and staring at the sky.
