Huge Triangle UFO Travels Over Nelson British Columbia

(From Brian Vike’s UFO Files) Re-posted by Brian.

Date: May 18, 2005
Time: Just after midnight.

The night was very cloudy but there were a number of large clear patches. I was driving south towards Nelson on Highway 3-A and noticed in one of the clear patches a triangular shaped craft (lights) sailing slowly along.

The object was traveling towards the south west. I thought it was odd looking, so I quickly pulled the truck over to the side of the road and watched. I saw four lights on it, three amber colored lights showing a triangular shape, or three points of light on each tip. The fourth light, red in color seemed to be directly in the center.

None of the lights were flashing at anytime. I heard no sound as the craft sailed slowly overhead. I was able to watch it for approximately eight seconds before I lost sight of it because the object moved into another cloud bank.

It was a eerie sight and to be honest I felt kind of frightened. Whatever it was had to have been huge, I couldn't even begin to guess at it's size.

Bright Orange Ring Of Fire Over Louden Nelson Center Santa Cruz California

Date:  February 16, 2012
Time:  Evening.

I was at the Louden Nelson Center in Santa Cruz Ca. Thursday evening February 16, 2012 when I noticed a crowd of people were looking straight up. It appeared to be a bright orange ring of fire with faint star like whitish blue line streaks like a bright planet low in horizon.

It slowly drifted to the west. My first thought was a balloon with something on fire below it. However the ring/fire seemed to be perfect as though created mechanically and flat. Had no dimension to it. Couldn't determine distance.

At arms length, disc appeared to be 1/4 inch diameter. It faded out quickly and drifted like a balloon would at the mercy of the wind currents. Also made a note to myself that it never made a course correction. It glowed slightly and seemed to tumble as it drifted faintly out of sight to the horizon.

UFO With Glowing Orange Dome On Bottom Seen Over Nelson County Virginia

Date: Around 1993
Time: Evening.

Location of Sighting: Nelson County Virginia.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 2 separate occasions.
Shape of Objects: Disk with a dome looking bottom which glowed orange.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was responding to the witness in the next county over from me which is Charlottesville Va. Though I have not seen it recently, I have witnessed such an object fly over the road on the mountain near where I live.

I have seen this twice, but not recently. To me it appeared as if the craft had a dome shaped bottom that was all lit up in orange. The sighting was brief and we were in old tall forest on a small country road. If all one can see is the bottom of a craft, a dome could likely appear as a ball shape or sphere. I think this was a disk with a dome on the bottom which glowed orange.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Large Tubular UFO With Lights Seen At Nelson B.C (Along The Kootenay River)

Date: Approximately ten years ago. (March 1997) (?)
Time: About 6:10 a.m.

Message: Hello! I just found your site while browsing and thought I'd like to relate my UFO experience of approximately ten years ago. Now retired, I once worked for the city of Nelson B.C. I left for work one morning at my usual time of about 6:10 am. I believe it was early spring - probably March. I had to drive about four miles west of town, pick up my work mate and then the two of us would continue to our work site, just a couple miles west of town which is downstream on the Kootenay river. This morning was cool and the narrow valley we live in and at that time, can have patches of fog hanging above the river here and there. The road to my workmates home climbs up in the valley and I can get a view down towards the river.

As I'm travelling along, I looked toward the river and noticed what looked to me to be a large tubular balloon (like a sausage) with three large lights along its side. Each light slowly blinking a different colour. Although I looked down toward it, it seemed to be floating along, perhaps 100 feet above the river, in a horizontal direction downstream. Suddenly it disappeared as it entered into a patch of fog. I picked up my buddy, and mentioned it to him on our way to work. My best guess as to its size would be possibly five feet thick and twenty feet long - a ratio of 1:4. Two mornings later, he said that he also had seen it, the evening before. We couldn't figure it out, so soon forgot about it. I must appologize, as this is not the correct module to be typing this account. Sorry for the inconvenience! The name of the area is called Taghum and is popular for UFOs due to a series of hydro electric generating stations nearby. Sincerely.

3 Round Large UFOs Levitating Over Fort Nelson, British Columbia

Date: September 15, 1996
Time: Approx: 11:30 p.m.

It was about 11:30 pm, A friend and I were on our way to attend a collage course in B.C.. We saw what looked like 3 round large balls of light levitating in the air.The biggest one was on top, it looked like it was very hot in color, a very bright white, the next one was under that one and it looked like the color of fire yellow, then the next one was under that one, it looked like it was fire red/yellow. All three were equally spaced apart what looked like about 30 to 60 feet apart. The biggest one looked to be about 50 to 60 feet in diameter, the next one down was about 35 to 25 feet in diameter, and the small one was the closest one to the ground, it looked to be about 15 to 20 feet in diameter and was about 60 feet off the ground.

They all just hung in the air with no sound, but very bright. As I drove faster to get closer to them, I got about 200 ft from them and they all just disappeared. As we drove further, we seen what looked like a very large white oval light ahead of us maybe 1/4 mile. I then stopped the car, turned off the car lights, and shut off the car as not to disturb whatever it was. My friend and I watched it for about 5 min. then it started to move very slow but started to go faster and started to pickup speed. Then it took off real fast and left a long trail behind that looked like the same shape and it stayed white for some time.

It looked like what your hand would look like as you passed it in front of you fast. We drove to Watson Lake and reported it to the R.C.M.P. as a UFO sighting. My friend is a Pentecostal Minister for 20 years, he is about 54 years old, and I am 52 years old myself now. All the round balls were glowing like a electric welder, "a pulsating-light."

UFO Sightings Over Castlegar/Nelson, British Columbia

Date: 1975, 1999, 2001
Time: Varies
Full Description of event/sighting: I have four stories to relate.

The Kootenays have always seemed to be a hot-bed of activity for as long as I can remember and I have never heard your weekly show on KBS Radio. I have not told anyone of these things aside from my wife and brother. Especially the first one. Your discretion is certainly appreciated. The witness has granted me permission to post the reports and the person will remain anonymous.

1.
I was 12 years old and I was at the old Castlegar arena about 10:00 p.m. waiting for my brother to finish a hockey practice. I went outside the arena with my mother and a friend of hers. We walked to a coffee shop about 1/2 mile away. While on the way back, we all noticed a very bright light in the sky. It was a cool clear night in mid-March. The object was extremely bright. It sort of was going straight and slow for about 20 seconds, then made a very sudden turn to the right. It suddenly stopped after a few more seconds. It was quite high up it seemed - 2-3 miles? At that point, several smaller lights or objects - I counted at least seven, emerged from the light and were flying around the still stationary larger object. The objects eventually made their way across the sky away from view. Total time - about 2-3 minutes. We were all quite puzzled by the event. On a side note - I remember we were talking with my mom's friend and her husband a few weeks later when they were over for dinner. He told us when he was with the US military in the early 1970's, he was a radar operator responsible for an area in the US mid-west. He used to track objects on the screen flying at extreme speeds - but he was also warned to ignore them and to keep his mouth shut. He was convinced from our descriptions, that what we saw was definitely not a normal aircraft.

2.
In 1999, my wife and two small children - 8 & 4 were traveling to our home in Nelson from Castlegar. It was about 7:00 p.m. and overcast - no visible stars, in March. My wife and my daughter noticed a very, very bright light flying very low coming along from the passenger side at high speed. In a few seconds it came into view in front of us. It looked about the size and brightness of a streetlight at about 100-150 yards away. There was just one bright white light, not strobing or flashing. We were approaching a hill, and the light definitely went over the hill. We arrived at the crest within about 10 seconds. When we arrived at the crest we all looked for the light, but there was no evidence of the it, even though the hill overlooks a fairly large valley.

3.
In the fall of 1999 - Late September, I was playing golf with a friend of mine on a Sunday morning at about 9:00 a.m.. We were playing on the old number 2 hole (new #11) on the Granite Pointe Golf Course. We both heard planes overhead, and we saw quite a sight. At least three military type jets flying in close formation around a much larger plane. The plane seemed to have a very large tank or possibly craft underneath or attached to it's belly. The planes were flying quite low. A Chemtrail/contrail seemed to be coming from the bizarre looking craft or tank. Later that day, a couple who live on Kootenay Lake - and a co-worker of mine, - 5-6 miles away, saw several jets flying patterns for over 20 minutes above the lake. The jets numbered at least 4 -5 at any one time. and seemed to have a very large amount of exhaust. All three of them claimed to have experienced some respiratory discomfort after this incident.I have lived in teh Trail/Nelson/Castlegar region for many years and have never seen a military aircraft in the area aside from an airshow.

4.
The most bizarre one though was in the summer - late July 2001. I was sleeping outside with my two kids - 10/6 under the stars in the back yard. We have a very private backyard - lots of trees/terraces and up against the mountain. The view from the yard is great, with the lake and the City below. It was totally clear warm mid-summers night and we looked at the various constellations and spotted satellites and fell asleep at about midnight.I woke up in the middle of the night - about 2:00 a.m., and immediately had a notion for whatever reason to turn my head and look to the north. I saw what appeared to be an extremely bright object traversing the sky in a north to south direction. I thought at first it was an extremely low satellite as it had no flashing lights whatsoever, just a continuous bright light like a streetlight again at about 100 yards or so. But it was so bright I wasn't really sure what it was. There was no noticeable noise. All of a sudden after watching for about 8-10 seconds, the object seemed to stop about halfway across the open sky, and either slowly went out - just like turning off a TV that is heated up - the light/picture goes very rapidly smaller, or it just took off at an extreme speed in the opposite direction. This all took place in a span of maybe 15 seconds. When it "disappeared", my daughter who was unbeknownst to me awake and obviously observing the same thing, commented "Dad, what was that" and "I'm really scared right now". I also experienced a very odd sensation right after the sighting. It felt eerie to me. Almost a feeling of dread. We all went quickly inside the house that night - ending our big camp-out.

5.
My brother works in Alberta. One of his friends is a former air traffic controller for the Edmonton International Airport. In fact I believe he served for a time as the chief controller at the airport before retired. He told my brother a couple of times, that they would regularly see very odd objects on the radar screen that would go at extreme speeds, and change direction very quickly - definitely not conventional craft. The controllers would contact Cold Lake AFB as they also covered this area as to what they were flying out there. Cold Lake would always reply to their enquiries "It is not ours, Edmonton".
