Yellow Orange Fireball With Short Tail Spotted Over Fort Collins Colorado (Fireball/Meteor)

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was part of a convoy returning to our daughter's house from dinner in Fort Collins about mid-evening one day in March. (time and date undocumented).

 

We were second in line behind our daughter's vehicle, traveling on College nearing Shields when my husband, daughter and myself all spotted a fireball appear right in front of our eyes in the middle of our windshields.

 

It's appearance was spherical in shape. You could definitely see that it was on fire (yellow-orange glow) and had a very short tail.

 

The fire glow lasted approximately 5 seconds, then disappeared from sight. There was not much forward streaking movement from this object.

 

Another member of our convoy may have observed this sighting as well.

Objects Dropping From The Bottom of Red UFO Seen Over Fort Collins Colorado

I saw this red light as well. It was the evening of the June 12, 2009 while riding my bike home from downtown Fort Collins.

 

It looked like there were 'shooting stars' falling from the bottom of the object.

Large Orange Red Glowing UFO Over Fort Collins Colorado

Full Description of Event/Sighting: It was around 4:00am this morning, pillow talking with my new girlfriend. Her room has a window and a balcony facing east to the open sky. Within a matter of 3 seconds, couldn't have been more, the hair stood on my body, alert, sensational feeling, snapped my head around, caught a glint.

Then I glanced outside. UFO description: Exceptionally fast, red orange glow, large and moving from north to south. I only caught the tail end of it passing by the window. This is sighting 15 for me.

Hello Brian Vike, I just want to report what I saw tonight. I saw in front of "Horsetooth mountain" like a fire ball, very bright and orange/red. I believed it was a street light because it was not too high and it was not moving. But, it was a orange, almost red in color. I think that's why I looked at it. Something was strange with this color.

Suddenly my eyes where attracted by the ball which changed shape, like an horizontal bright orange bar or cigar and stayed like that for 2 seconds. It then fell down to the earth very, very fast. There was no noises. Maybe it's a meteor. I don't know. I went back at home and I looked in the sky and I saw 2 helicopters circling around our street and block for approximately 30 minutes. Then nothing more to say. If somebody saw or knows something, please let us know.
