Two Glowing Orange Objects Over Starlaw Road Bathgate West Lothian UK

Date:  January 1, 2012
Time:  12:05 a.m.

After reading this post I had to leave a comment. On the 01/01/12 at 00.05 I also saw two orange glowing objects flying through the sky. They were obviously not a plane due to lack off noise. I spotted the UFOs at Starlaw Road West Lothian.

The witness for the above report was referring to a sighting report he read here: “Orange Fiery Lights Over Whitburn West Lothian UK” http://worldufos.blogspot.com/2010/01/orange-fiery-lights-over-whitburn-west.html

Time:  Approx: 1:00 a.m.

Hi, I don't know if you are the right person to tell.

I live in a village called Kirknewton, just outside Livingston West Lothian. At around 1:00am this morning, 10th July, my wife and I noticed bright orange flying lights in the sky.

There was no noise and was approximately 30 of them. After doing some Google research, this sighting has been seen before.

Orange Red Round Shaped Object Over Bathgate West Lothian Scotland U.K.

Date:  October 18, 2011
Time:  11:00 p.m. – 11:25 p.m.

Witnesses: 1
Objects: 1
Shape: Roundish

Hi Brian, last night I went out my back door to have a smoke, I had only been out about a minute when I glanced to my left, and I noticed this orange/red roundish shaped object shoot across the sky, from right to left, east to west, horizontal and just off the horizon.

It all happened in a matter of seconds, it was moving that fast.
I do not think I was seeing things (I hadn't been drinking). With Regards.

Additional Information:

Hi Brian, Thanks for getting back to me so quick, and sorry for not including the location.

It was not in the U.S.A, it was in the U.K., it was in the town of Bathgate, West Lothian, Scotland, U.K.

I live about 18 miles (30 km's ) from Edinburgh Airport, and 40 miles ( 65 km's ) from Glasgow Airport, but the object that  I saw was not in any usual flight path.

The object was moving that fast, it was over in a matter of seconds.

I have not asked anyone else if they saw it, they might think I am not right in the head, my son thinks it was just something burning up on re-entering the atmosphere.

Anyway Brian, thanks for getting back to me.

Have a good weekend, when it comes.

Best Regards.

Bright Orange Lights Over Ladywell West Lothian Scotland UK

Date: February 18, 2011
Time: 6;15 p.m.

Hello, because of my experience last Friday at 18:50, I went online to see what information is available on UFOs over West Lothian, and was absolutely amazed to read your email in May 2010 when you described exactly what I saw.

At 18:50hrs, I was in my front garden when I saw in the sky two bright orange lights approaching at a steady pace. One was slightly in front of and to the side of the other and both were very close together. I went out into the cul-de-sac where I live in Ladywell to wait and observe them going overhead.

No sound whatsoever came from these lights and when they eventually came overhead, there was absolutely no visible evidence whatsoever of an object of any kind let alone a plane.

Just as you describe the disappearance of the light you observed, I, too, observed the disappearance of the two lights in exactly the same manner. The light at the rear suddenly began to diminish and eventually became a pinprick of light and finally disappeared. The remaining light then also began to fade and it too vanished just like the first one.

I would really appreciate if you could please take the time to contact me with any further information/findings you may have on this. I have heard over the years via the media of sightings from around the world and here in West Lothian, but never thought that I myself would bear witness to anything. I have no idea what they were, but they were most certainly not aeroplanes of any kind.

Kind regards.

Two Bright Orange lights Over East Lothian Scotland UK

Date: December 25, 2010
Time: 10:30 p.m.

On the 25 December 2010 at 10.30pm in East Lothian Scotland, me and my family had just stepped outside our mother-in-laws house when we spotted two bright orange lights travelling low heading east from our position.

The lights came about a minute apart and with no sound. The second one was larger and brighter and we had them in view for about 2 to 3 minutes. We had seven witnesses to this in total. Possibly thought it was meteors, but been on internet and no reports of meteors in that area and at that time. I also checked news and heard about the Indian rocket explosion, but it would not be rocket debris as all debris fell in to the bay of Bengal.

Just thought I would let you know.

Flashing Bright Light Covers Massive Area Seen From Armadale West Lothian UK

Date: December 15, 2010
Time: 10:00 p.m. to midnight.

Location of Sighting: Armadale West Lothian UK.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 1 – ?
Shape of Objects: Large bright flashing light.

Update: An update has been posted at the end of this sighting report.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was in the kitchen downstairs and looked out towards Linlithgow, I could see a very bright flashing light in the skies in that area, it was a massive area and continuously flashing. I went upstairs to my bedroom and called my 12 year old son to come and look, he thought it was lightning, but it just kept on and on. It was nothing I've ever seen before and too bright and large for a plane or buildings.

I'm not sure of the distance, but it was towards Linlithgow area or maybe Dechmont. I watched for a long time and then went back and it seemed to fade after midnight or soon after that. I have a good distance view from upstairs and it looked like there was a dome shaped enormous 'object' in or on the ground which was giving off this bright flashing light.

It was amazing and I would appreciate any kind of advice or similar experience to shed light on what this was as I am mystified. I have seen a lot of strange things in the skies etc., but this was one of those I'll never forget.

Update: Please note that this sighting below is a new report and it took place on December 18, 2010.

Hi Brian, thanks, I appreciate it. I have an update as again last night in exactly the same area. I was in the kitchen again, it was about 10:30pm and another very strange thing appeared there.

This time it wasn't from the ground and didn't light up the whole sky, but it was first of all, like a huge very bright star, very, very bright and large, no way it could be a star!

The colour was bright white and there were no clouds in the sky at that time. The very strange thing is that then it completely disappeared (there was just a sort of grey straight line going vertically across) then the star-type thing just appeared again and it did this several times.

It was definitely static and did not move for at least 15 minutes or so then, as my son and I were watching (by this time we had gone upstairs for a better view again) and it seemed to 'transform' into a plane and started coming in our direction.

Now I really think there is something going on there, can things 'transform' from UFOs into what appear to be planes? I don't know, it sounds crazy, but we saw what we saw. It is strange that there were only a couple of days between these two strange activities and they were round about the same time at night.

After that incident I felt so ill, I had a really bad headache and stiff all over my body, today I still feel really bad, nauseous, headachy and very very tired. My son also feels like he has flu-like symptoms, I am wondering if it is all related to these episodes.

As I said in my last email, I have seen lots of strange things over the years, even a night-time visitation from a strange luminous large human-like creature with a green luminous face! Oh, what a strange world we live in. Please, can you shed some light on these things, I would appreciate it so much. Regards from Scotland.

Orange Lights Over Armadale West Lothian UK

Date: October 31, 2010
Time: 8:15 p.m.

It is 8:15p.m. and my wife has just got back with the dogs, I live in Armadale West Lothian and she said there were orange lights coming from the Falkirk area and passing over our house before heading towards Glasgow.

I went to the door and at first I thought they were hot air balloons, but they are silent and move much too fast and they come one after another and have continued for over 40 minutes, but I gave up watching after that so don't know whether they are still passing over.

Glowing Orange Ball Over Deans Livingston West Lothian UK

Date: May 22, 2010
Time: Approx: 10:45 p.m.

Hi, on Sat 22 May 2010 around 22:45, my daughter and friend were on her trampoline in our South facing garden (Deans in Livingston West Lothian) and she saw a glowing orange ball of fire in the sky (in the East). My daughter alerted us to the sighting and five of us witnessed the object, which seemed to be moving very slowly (if at all).

The object seemed to drop slowly from the sky and then disappeared. I wondered if it had been a meteorite as I can't think of any other explanation. Pleased to have found your website and to discover that other people have witnessed this strange sighting. Thanks.

Glowing Ball Of Orange Light Over Livingston West Lothian UK

Date: May 22, 2010
Time: Between 10:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.

Hi there, I just wanted to add another sighting on to your website notifications. I was sitting in south side of Livingston, West Lothian outside between 10:30pm and 11:00pm last night, Saturday 22nd May.

It was a still night, clear sky, then out of nowhere, this orange glow appeared. We watched it moving in a steady and controlled manner. No noise, no vapour trails. No drop of pace, not much change in direction. Hard to say what size it was. It came in from a northeasterly direction travelling southwest. We all watched it for about 5 minutes until it finally disappeared to such a small size and then vanished.

We didn't think it was an aeroplane, or a meteorite and could not come up with a rational explanation of what it was? What are all these glowing balls of orange lights in our skies? Is anyone going to come up with a rational explanation for us?

Bright Orange Light Over Livingston West Lothian Scotland

Date: May 8, 2010
Time: 10:30 p.m.

22:30hrs approx: tonight, another bright orange light over Livingston West Lothian Scotland. It was headed towards the Edinburgh-Glasgow direction. it was immediately behind an aircraft which had taken off at a perpendicular angle and the aircraft was easily identified by the flashing lights as per normal. The UFO light was an extremely bright orange and moving at a constant speed without any flashing lights. The orange light diminished in size and became a small white light, then disappeared into the darkening skies. Regards.

Bright Orange Light Over Broxburn West Lothian UK

Date: January 1, 2010
Time: 12:10 a.m.

Hi, Happy New Year. We had friends over for New Year last night and at about 12:10am I saw a bright orange light heading from north to south sometimes very slow, then stopping then moving very fast until disappearing off to the south. All of the our guests saw this light as it reappeared at about 12:20am. This time heading west from the east. We live in Broxburn West Lothian, this was no plane or helo. Do you know were I can get some photos of this event. Many thanks.

Orange Fiery Lights Over Whitburn West Lothian UK

Date: January 1, 2010
Time: Approx: Between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Whitburn, West Lothian.
Number of witnesses: 3
Number of Objects: 4
Shape of Objects: Bright orange ball shape.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Walking home from my wife's parents house on New Years Day with my wife and our 8 year old son when we spotted 2 orange fiery lights flying parallel to each other north to south. The strange colour first attracted our attention, but also the lack noise was puzzling. As they passed over us one of the lights turned left and moved off in a different direction. We then saw a third light a bit further off but travelling in the same direction as the first two. We watched them as we walked home until they disappeared from view. By the time we reached home (about 7 or 8 minutes later) we saw a forth light once again travelling in the same direction as the previous 3.

We have no idea what we saw, but I am certain that the strange lights we saw was not an airplane as the lack of any noise would discount this. I decided to check the internet and found that many people all over the country had similar sightings. I felt we had to include ours.

14 Round Burning Yellow/Orangey Lights Over Eliburn Livingston West Lothian Scotland UK (New Year)

Date: January 1, 2010
Time: 00.01

Location of Sighting: Eliburn Livingston West lothian Scotland.
Number of witnesses: 6
Number of Objects: About 14
Shape of Objects: Round

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Round burning lights yellowy/orangey in color, not bright orange like fire, but burning moving fast towards land, then shooting into the sky. There was one hovering for a bit, it looked real close through a telescope as I looked at it. It was round and burning. It hovered above the houses over the road then shoots back up, that's when more and more came and got closer and closer.

It's New Years Eve and I'm in my house with my partner and child, I have had no alcohol or drugs.

From my own eyes this is something that I can not explain. It went to far up in the sky and back down again to be a firework, it never landed. Two of the lights collided paths and just went through each other too. I have shut my windows and curtains and I'm of to bed, to scared of what might come.
