Bright Orange Glowing Object Over The Pacific Ocean In Southern California

Date:  October 20, 2008
Time:  Evening.

I myself was unsure of what we saw until just now I Googled it and found a lot of people have seen the same thing. Me and three other people saw an orange glowing orb above the pacific ocean in Southern California on October 20, 2008. It was the strangest thing.

At first my boyfriend disregarded it as a plane, obviously not looking closely enough at it. But then I made him focus his attention on it and we both watched it for a good 10-15 minutes. It would go way up high in the sky, then drop with great speed back down almost like it was going to drop into the ocean, and then repeat this pattern a few times before it would go mid-sky, and start doing figures like the infinity simple in math.

It made an assortment of different moves and jolts before what it seemed like taking up great speed going out to sea, and then disappearing. It was the strangest thing I had ever seen and was totally perplexed by it.

After, we tried to brainstorm what else it could have been. We came up with a boat, but it was too high in the sky so that didn't make sense. next a satellite, but I had never seen an orange satellite with such vast movements and then a plane, but no way it could have been a plane.

We compared it to other planes in the sky that were flying by because we were near by an airport, however it looked nothing like a plane. It was bright orange in color and seemed to be sometimes becoming darker in color and then getting almost white. My boyfriend is in disbelief of it, but me however, am fully convinced it was something that was from out of our world.
