A Stream Of Red Objects/Lights Seen In The Sky At East Amherst New York

Date:  August 21, 2014
Time:  Approx: 9:30 p.m.

In east Amherst New York on August 21, 2014 at approximately 9:30 p.m. my husband, my 13 year old daughter and myself saw a steady stream of red orbs pass the sky from east to west.

There was no sound and once they got above our home they flew off very fast.

If anyone has witnessed the lights/objects, please send me an email with details of what you saw. Please remember to include the date and time and location. (Town/City – State or Province) and as much detail as possible.

Stream Of Red And Blue Lights Seen In The Sky Between Summerland And Penticton British Columbia

Hey Brian, I was just looking around the internet to see if anyone saw what we saw tonight and came across your email.

We were driving from Summerland to Penticton (me and my mom) and this stream of red and blue lights caught my attention right out my side window. It was so quick, but it looked like it had turned or something so the first glimpse we saw looked like a u.  

Kind of shot across right above the lake.  We pulled over to watch and at first I thought it was just flying towards Kelowna, but it sure looked like it was actually going straight up until it was just a speck of light, like a star.

My mom thinks it was small, like a toy aircraft, but I doubt they could fly that far away or that fast and the light steak we saw looked pretty thick.

Any ideas? We are thinking there is no way we are the only ones that saw it, but to see it out my side window like that. In front of the mountain it must have been pretty close to the ground.

Eeek. We don't know.

NASA Jet Stream Study Will Light up The Night Sky

 

Vike Factor Note: I am sure this will be the cause of a number of sightings that may come in. Just a heads up.

 

Midnight Rocket Plumes:  On Tuesday, March 27th, between midnight and 3 am EDT, NASA plans a rapid-fire launch of five sounding rockets from the Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia.

 

The rockets will deliver a chemical tracer to the upper reaches of Earth's atmosphere, forming milky white plumes that reveal high-speed winds at the edge of space.

 

The display should be visible to the naked eye from coastal areas between South Carolina and New Jersey.

Stream Of Bright Round Orange/Yellow Lights Over Mount Holly North Carolina

Time:  Approx: 11:30 p.m.

 

Last night, Dec. 17, 2011 around 11:30 p.m., my husband and I witnessed the strangest thing we have ever seen.

 

A stream of bright round orange/yellow lights that were appearing one by one in a line and moving very slowly. At one point, 2 of the lights came together for a minute and then moved apart. There were at least 8 to 10 of these.

 

They seemed line up, keeping the same distance from each other, formed sort of a V shape, then followed each other up and horizontally until they disappeared one by one. Because of the course they were moving we waited to see if we could get a better view from our backyard.

 

I ran to get the video camera, but they started going out one by one before we could film. However, my husband did get a little clip on his I phone. These were definitely not planes and made no noise. We live in Mt. Holly NC.

 

We will have our camera ready tonight to see if we see them again. We figured we would hear something on the news today about these lights but have not found anything mentioned.
