Light Pink/Rose Colored Oval Shaped UFOs Seen From McHenry County Illinois

Time:  Approx: 9:40 p.m.

 

On Sunday, August 8, 1988 at approximately 9:40 p.m. I was sitting outside near the north side of our house having a cigarette. I was facing toward the east at the time and happened to look toward the northeast for some reason.

 

I saw five objects coming from the north and heading toward the highway about four blocks to the north of us. The objects were heading toward the south at a high rate of speed and were flying in a V formation.

 

They came across the highway and headed toward the creek that flows nearby. From my position, they were about a half mile to the east and appeared to be about a thousand feet or so up in the air.

 

The objects were oval in shape and a light pink/rose color. They seemed to look almost transparent. They made no noise that I could hear. They flew over the creek and the nearby woods and continued south.

 

I watched them until they disappeared from sight.

UFO Was Like A Giant Triangle Seen Over McHenry County Harvard Illinois

Time:  8:45 p.m.

 

On Thursday, October 9, 2009 at 8:45 p.m. my brother and I watched a UFO in the sky over our house in Harvard, Illinois, McHenry County. I saw the object first as it came from the southeast. The sky itself was cloudy, but the object was under the clouds and in clear view.

 

I at first thought it was a plane coming from O'Hare airport as they pass over our house quite often both coming and going. As I watched, this object didn't seem to be moving like a plane, it wasn't moving as fast and seemed more to float through the sky.

 

There were also six lights showing on the object. A plane generally shows four, one on the end of each wing, one near the nose, and one near the tail. A plane also generally has one blue light on one wing, and a red light on the other.

 

The lights on this were red and white only, I believe four red and two white. The lights formed a row and appeared to be on two sides. I went into the house and told my brother to come outside and look at this thing.

 

My brother and I went back outside. The time then was 8:45 p.m. The object had now moved closer, but as we watched, it began to float more to the west. We watched as it moved across the sky. It floated along the creek that flows about 100 yards to the south of our house.

 

It was in plain view, no obstructions. As we watched, it began to veer to the northwest, but it didn't bank, and turn like a plane would. It just gradually "floated" in that direction. We watched as it drew nearer to our street, finally passing overhead just on the west side of our house.

 

The object was maybe a couple of thousand feet up, but it still appeared to be large, like a 747 would. It made no noise that we could hear. We watched as it floated to the northwest and could now see that there was a third side to the object with two more red lights and one white one.

 

The object was like a giant triangle, with three sides and three lights on each side. We have no idea what it was, and because of the black background of the dark, cloudy sky, we don't know if it was solid in the center, or not.

 

We watched it for a total of probably nine, or ten minutes until it floated out of sight in the northwest. We know that it wasn't a hot-air balloon because there was no sound of the hot air burner. We have seen plenty of hot-air balloons go over. To this day, we still do not know what it was.

Long White Object Over McHenry County Illinois

Time: 7:50 a.m.

Location of Sighting: McHenry County Illinois.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was outside feeding my animals and looked around in the sky as usual. At first I thought this was a vapor trail from a jet, but was not the case. The object was heading southwest very high in the sky.

The object was at about a 25% angle as it traveled to the southeast. This could not have been a vapor trail because it did not follow the direction of travel in a strait line as vapor trails do. This was very, very similar to white thin shaped objects I have seen on video on UFO web sites. Sighting lasted for about 3 or 4 minutes. Looked like a cigarette. Wow!

UFOs Darting In And Out Of A Cloud Over McHenry Illinois

Time: Approx: 4:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: McHenry Illinois.

Number of Objects: Several.
Shape of Objects: Spherical.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was sitting in the shade watching the cloud formations, when movement caught my eyes. At first I thought they were birds. There were several objects swooping in and out of a cloud. They would one at a time dive out and shimmer with a flash from the sun, then retreat back in. They had a similarity to those silver water bugs you see on ponds that swirl around aimlessly.

The objects would exit the upper part of the cloud and dive. A flash was seen, then would turn on a dime and climb to fly back in. These were all taking turns doing this. The cloud elevation was documented at 8,500 feet for that time of sighting. The cloud was 25 degrees above my horizon. Mathematically speaking, this cloud was about 5 miles away.

I did the math on these objects and knowing there speed to exceed 500 mph. Sighting duration, 30 seconds. Made the mistake of running for my camera and they were not visible when I got back. I could have observed more of their behavior. I did see an unusual opening or void in a different cloud about 45 minutes previous. Please call for more details. Sincerely.
