Date: July 9, 2011
Time: Approx: Dusk.
Dear Sir, on July 9th 2011 myself and 9 others in our family were on Englewood Beach just south of the public beach nearing sunset. All 10 of us witnessed 3 bright (brightest I’ve ever seen) multi colored “flying things” traveling south just above the tree tops without a sound.
When they came closer to us they went straight up in the air and formed a stationary triangle, while all flashing the same colored lights at the same time.
Then a 4th “light” flashing the same color sequence appeared to come in near the 3. It began to “pulse” a real big less intense blue color.
After watching this for at least a ½ hour, it began to get very dark and they appeared the size of surrounding stars.
To my amazement there were other people on the beach watching this as if it were totally normal. (The lights had from our perspective, traveled over the Public Beach near the South end of Manasota Key)
I have done a lot of digging on the web and have only seen one posting of this event. I sent an email to the local news paper Editor (no response) and even tried to see if it was on the local Police Dispatch report, which I could never find the correct day. July 9th 2011.
We all agreed that what we had witnessed was real. There was no missing time or any kind of fear. This was the strangest experience of my life and yet very peaceful. Two in our party have experience around Military aircraft,
