Chicago Police And Other Witnesses Watch Morphing Spinning UFO In The Sky Over Chicago Illinois (Audio Report)

Time: 1:30, 3:30

Location of Sighting: Chicago Air and Water Show.
Number of witnesses: 5 plus.
Number of objects: 2
Shape of objects: Silver orb, rotating morphing object.

Full Description of event/sighting: While on the water in a friends boat during the early portion of the Air and Water show in Chicago\MIG performance as the MIG banked in the air we looked up to see what at first looked like a silver orb hanging near the smoke trail from the MIG.

The object hung there and while the five of us all watched, we noticed it spinning and looking like it was morphing from a round object into two objects but still remaining attached and rotating end over end.

As it rotated we could see the sun shine off the object at first as an orb shape, then as it seemed to show the texture of two orbs stuck together.

It hung, although there was some wind and was definitely not a balloon, plane or bird. The sky was nearly completely clear. You couldn't miss the silver dot in the sky. Eventually it disappeared in front of our eyes after about 7 minutes.

Later during a separate jet performance I looked up in a different part of the completely empty blue sky to see a glowing silver orb which seemed to hang for a little longer eventually slowly getting smaller as we assumed it was gaining altitude slowly.

There was a Chicago police boat right next to us and we pointed and showed them the location. They both (a male and female occupant saw the object and watched with us).

We told them of the previous experience and they seemed to have no explanation of what we were looking at.

I am more than sure some of the over 1 million people got video of this event. It was pretty amazing.

Orange Morphing Light Over Norridge Illinois

Date: 25 years ago

Time: Evening.

My name is (name removed), and I was previously a resident of Illinois. When I was between 7-8 years old, my family lived in an apartment complex in Norridge, Illinois called Catherine Courts. One evening, we were invited to the house of a family friend. My grandmother and I had left our apartment, and were outside, waiting for my mother and father to come down, so we could leave.

I then noticed something strange, high in the sky. About 70 degrees above horizon, I saw what I would describe as an orange morphing light. Essentially, it looked a lot like a flame, and it would seem to change it's orientation, almost constantly. The object appeared to be no greater in dimension (in length or height) than the size of a penny, held out at arm's length.

I drew my grandmother's attention (who was then about 50 years old), to the light. She was as perplexed as I was, at the sight, and at a lost to describe what we were looking at. I remember her then suggesting that it was maybe a space shuttle. We looked at if for about one minute, before we had to leave for the party. I have been unsatisfied with the 'space shuttle' explanation ever since.

Out of curiosity, I decided that I would do an internet search, to find out if anyone that night (or any other night), in the area, had witnessed something similar. To my surprise, I found the post regarding a recent sighting in Norridge (http://unitedstatesufo.blogspot.com/2010/07/ball-of-fire-orange-light-over-norridge.html). The details are eerily similar to my sighting some 25 years ago. I find this to be more than just coincidence. I am compelled to file a detailed report for my sighting, on my next day off of work.
