I loaded up a video clip of the China Nose forest fire outside of Houston, B.C.. I also took some more photos and video today.
Here are a few pictures I also took of the fire.
The picture
above shows how the forest fire looked in the morning, there was no wind at
all. Also taken from a friends home.
The picture above shows the fire building
and the wind had started up as well, this would have been around noon and taken
from my porch.
Residents of Houston and the surrounding region may see increased levels of smoke this week due to a wildfire burning about 15 kilometres southeast of the community.

Northwest Fire Centre Wildfire Information (This information comes from the B.C. Forest Service)
The fire is near China Nose Mountain and was likely sparked by lightning. It is presently estimated to cover 80 hectares and is in an area that is only accessible by air.
The Northwest Fire Centre would like to thank the public for submitting numerous phone reports about this fire, which allowed crews to respond quickly and efficiently.
