Orange/Red Object Seen Flying Over Asheville North Carolina

Date:  2014 ?
Time:  Evening.

It was a few months back when I seen a orange/red orb about the size of the moon floating slowly from left to right coming from the west.

I observed it for about five minutes until it disappeared. I can't stop thinking of what I witnessed. Asheville NC.
