Red Lights Spotted Over Moses Lake Texas City Texas

Date:  April 7, 2012
Time:  Evening.

My family saw the red lights fly in formations over Moses lake for ten minutes before fading a away one by one. I would like to know what it was if there is a logical explanation.

Please contact me with any information you may have on the phenomenon. Thanks.

  1. We saw the same thing at 9:30 we were on the north side of clear lake. We have a video where you can clearly see the lights but in the video they are all in a straight line unlike the way we saw them.

  2. last night in orlando fl multiple witnesses saw three reddish orange lights in a triangular pattern, one stopped still in the sky with the other 2 zooming off.then after about 30-45 secs the stationary one was joined by several lights, one by one.they formed an odd pattern before taking off at an amazingly fast speed.oh and for contrast there happened to be a regular plane in the sky heading towards orlando international airport at that same time.

  3. My family saw the same red glowing lights last night in Texas City, TX. They had no idea what it was. My mother told me the lights made a triangular formation and faded one by one at about 9:15-9:30pm outside of a restaurant. There was a local police officer eating who got a call over his radio to go outside and try to identify what is going on. The restaurant staff, owner and guest proceeded to follow him and witness the event. Everyone used their cell phone to try to get a pic, but none were focused enough. Some people speculated they were stationary helicoptors, red paper lanterns or high altitude flares.

  4. Flares tied to helium-filled punching balloons.
