Time: Approx: 7:00 p.m.
Richwood, Texas: My family and I were pulling up to our home around 7:00 p.m. when the sun was setting on Saturday April 7th, 2012 and we saw one glowing red lantern/light object flying about what I think was about 300 feet into the air, maybe more.
We all got out and walked to the street, trying to figure out what it was. At first I thought it was a helicopter with a red light, but as it went over our house it was just a strange glowing object and it was traveling way to fast to be a paper lantern, and there was no engine sound what so ever.
It was really freaky. It kept going towards the sunset. Very strange, it scared my children. Today it was on the news with multiple sightings and even a cool video of a formation. We live about 45 minutes south of Texas City.

spotted the same thing over Vancouver today how ever there seemed to be multiple of them the light turned off and the object seemed to just fly around the sky. I wish i had a telescope or binoculars to see what it was. But there was at least 3 of them 3 to 5min apart going from south to north.
