Bright Green/Blue Triangle Shooting Through The Sky Over Burns Oregon

Time: Approx: 8:00 a.m. 
 
I saw around 8:00 a.m. today a really bright green\blue triangle shooting through the southern sky before disappearing behind the trees .Location of sighting 37 miles northwest of Burns, Oregon

    I’m from South Africa. We (myself and 2 friends) were sitting outside (21April 2012,+- 10pm), and suddenly the electricity went down and a blue/green flash lightened the entire sky for 2seconds and then the electricity went back on! It wasn’t lightning as it was dead quite! That was so weird, and all 3 of us saw this. I have no idée what it was or what it could be!
