I’m here in Phoenix, Arizona at approximately 8:15 p.m. here on New Years Eve a party of us saw a slow green bright light with a trailing tail light up the sky, lasted for about 30 seconds as it headed north horizontally across the sky.
If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

ReplyDeleteWhere - Scottsdale Arizona
Time_ Approximately 8 15 pm
Saw a cluster of THREE green lights heading N-NW in the sky . we were traveling North on Hayden, the lights seemed to be over the 101 or the reservation... The lights were moving fairly fast as after they disappeared I saw aircraft that was moving at about half the speed...Anyway THREE of us in the car were watching them. The lights the created a plume like tail and were gone.the lights seemed to be losing altitude because after the lights went away we were looking for an explosion.... I texted my son to see if there were any sightings.m He informed me there was...
after you post this I will reply with contact info
Yes, we al saw it here in Phoenix, around 51th Ave and Thomas.
ReplyDeleteYes!! We saw it fly from south to north (perfectly straight---not coming from a downward projectile path from the atmosphere). Very low--any lower and it would've been in danger of hitting power lines or tops of buildings. We were sitting outside on the balcony of our apartment & it was eye level, about two blocks over from where we are. Then as suddenly as it appeared out of nowhere, the bright green ball of light (about 10 feet diameter maybe 12 feet) with a red & orange tail just *poof* went out. Seen lots of these before but never one as close as this one was. About 10 minutes after this sighting, we my son noticed a very slow moving object in the sky to the south-southeast. It was red colored pulsating lights in an arc-shaped half circle. We thought "too slow for an airplane", but it was its trajectory that was strange. 3 of us watched it go up and just disappear into the sky. **to note** zero cloud cover in the area last night, so it wasn't obscured by clouds. We still don't know what it was we saw, but it definitely was nothing any of us had ever witnessed before in our lives.
ReplyDeleteOn the 202/Red Mountain Fwy at about 52nd Street/Van Buren headed out to Chandler when it streaked across the sky, everyone on the freeway hit their breaks to see it pass over, and then it seemed like it disappeared behind Camelback.
ReplyDeleteWe saw it at 107th Ave. and Happy Valley at about the same time
ReplyDeletei saw the greenlight last night what was it

ReplyDeleteI was in Laveen when it passed overhead. I estimate it was traveling at least Mach 6.
ReplyDeleteI was in Laveen and I estimate it was traveling at least Mach 6. It was to big to be a comet long and green with a tail.
ReplyDeletei saw the same thing but in camp verde
ReplyDeleteWe saw the tail end of it when it fizzled out and disappeared. At first I thought it was fireworks when it caught my eye. We were in cave creek, it was very cool
ReplyDeleteMy daughter and I saw the streaking green light on New Year's Eve. We were in her backyard very near the intersection of Ironwood and Hwy 60. It appeared to be moving south to north at about 10-15 degrees above the east horizon. It stayed at about that level the entire time we saw it. I don't know where it started, but we first saw it as it emerged from behind the house to the east of hers. It moved behind another house before we saw it again as it fizzled out. It fizzled out before it disappeared behind any mountains.
ReplyDeleteAt approximately 5:00am on May 2nd, myself and one other person witnessed a beachball-sized bright white light, surrounded in a vibrant blue aura with a tail, moving moderately slow at first low to the ground, before darting off quickly into the night clouds. It appeared to be in the skies above 23rd Ave and Dunlap Ave, Phoenix, AZ. It seemed to be approximately 85-90ft in the air.
