Time: 9:30 - 9:50 p.m.
Hello, my name is (name removed), I am 15 years old. On Christmas day of 2009, my family was on are way home from Maryland, just crossed into Virginia. I was listening to my itouch, when suddenly I saw a weird green light in the sky? At first, I didn't believe what I saw because it did not make any sense, but then it happened once more. My first reaction was "Mom, Dad did you see that" of course they didn't because my dad was driving and my mom was talking on the phone. But my sister also saw the green light. We watched the sky to see the amazing weird light, but it never happened that night.
I have been researching online and I have not found any real theory to this. Do you have one? Aliens? I am not a big believer, but after seeing these green lights that filled the sky, I question.

Thank you very much for answering. For the lights, it lasted maybe a second, then it was gone. It was really bright. It was like lightning that covered the sky, except green and it was neither a trail or tail. It covered the sky, it didn't look like a meteor, but then again your the expert.
