Ayr, Ayrshire, 5/2/2011 2120h. approximately seven distinct red lights (I may not have seen the first or later ones) heading from the west at undetermined height, not in any apparent formation, but broadly in line and some distance apart.
Each one fading as it approached the town, perhaps due to high cloud, but weather appears uniform though no stars visible. No audible sound, lights fairly steady, not flickering, but not uniformly bright. Any explanation?
If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.
