Full Description of Event/Sighting: We were driving down Hwy 50, leaving Bolton, heading towards Etobicoke. I happened to look south, southwest across a farmer's field (near the Hwy 50/Countryside Drive junction, Bolton South) and noticed, upward in the sky, perhaps at an angle of about 30 degrees above the horizon, an object. I thought it was a plane at first, since we get many planes in this area. However, the movement across the sky was extremely slow. No way this was a plane. I watched the craft for several minutes, as it moved slightly northward, maintaining a very slow trajectory/direction of travel.
We then turned down a road in the east direction (Coleraine Drive, off hwy 50). I continued to watch the object/UFO.
Based on the distance of object from us (that being perhaps 10 miles away or so), I would guess/theorize the object was at least 1000 feet across. It had noticeable illumination across it's surface. Two separated illuminations. The object was tubular, and not a disc. It did not change it's profile while I watched it.
Near the end of my viewing, the object raised it's self upward and increased velocity. Very smooth movement. It then departed, as it appears to me, into the upper atmosphere and out into space.
It's unmistakable as being an advanced star craft. Intelligently guided.
